Chapter 2

“Unghhh Nathan~” my lovely sister’s cries of pleasure reached out to my ears as I was looking at them rooted to my spot.

All I could think in my head right now was the word Why? How could they do this to me? As I watched on helplessly without all my cries and words stuck in my throat while my tears swelling up in my eyes causing my vision to be blurry although the picture in front of me remained clear in my head.

“Goddd I’m coming Andrea unghhhh” Nathan cried out his climax whilst panting hard when Andrea screamed “Nathannnnn fuckkkk” when she also climaxed.

Then everything was silent as they were left a panting mess and that’s when my first sob broke out, which startled them and they both turned their heads towards the noise which was towards where I was standing.

I could see their emotions clearly as they both registered what was in front of them, and what I have witnessed when their faces went from startled to horrified before they both scrambled away from each other and tried to find some type of clothing to cover themselves with widened eyes and Nathan tried to speak whilst trying to put his boxers on “Fuck, Abi let me explain” he looked frantic trying to come up with an excuse.

I still couldn’t muster up any words out of my mouth as at this point all I could do was stutter gibberish “H-h-how…. W-wh-Whhy….”

I looked in the eyes of the man that I have dedicated 10 years of my life to, and I could see his panicked face mixed with guilt and remorse. I shook my head at him when he tried to come with more excuses, and he probably thought that it was futile cause the next words that came out of his mouth were “Abi I’m sorry” before he looked down to avoid my gaze.

That’s when I looked behind him to seem my now half-naked sister who was covering herself with a half-torn blouse and panties. She was already averting her gaze from me, and I could see silent tears streaming down her face.

I finally mustered up some courage through my shattering heart and brokenly whispered “Why?”

Neither of them dared to look at me. I wanted answers so next I screamed heart wrenchingly “WHY? HOW COULD YOU BOTH DO THIS TO ME?” before more sobs broke out of me with my eyes blurring with an endless stream of tears.

Andrea softly uttered the words “I’m sorry Abi! We never meant to hurt you” in between her soft sobs. She looked guilty and broken when she looked at me to say those words.

I gave a mocking laugh “HA! In what universe would something like this not hurt another person? Tell me how you could sleep with each other and not think that it won’t break me completely?”  More tears kept streaming down my face.

They had no answer to my question. I took a deep breath because I need to know more details about this betrayal that happened to me.

“How long has this been going on for?” I asked with the greatest difficulty to keep myself steady.

Nathan looked even more guiltier than he already did before uttering looking at me and uttering “6 months” I inhaled sharply and saw that Andrea was fidgeting behind Nathan uncomfortably still and averting my gaze again.

“HOW COULD YOU? I LOVED YOU BOTH UNCONDITIONALLY!” I looked at Andrea before screaming “I GAVE YOU EVERYTHING AFTER OUR MOM PASSED AWAY AND MADE SURE THAT YOU NEVER LACKED A MOTHER’S CARE FROM THEN ON! AND IS THIS HOW YOU REPAY MY LOVE AND KINDNESS?” I took the nearest thing to me which was a tiny ornament kept on top of the shoe cupboard towards the two of them.

Andrea shrieked and shielded behind Nathan whilst he extended his arms to protect her from my attack and said “Abigail, calm down! We can talk about this slowly.”

I was hysterical at this point and a sobbing mess before I slid down and started sobbing while screaming “WHAT IS THERE TO TALK ABOUT? I GAVE 10 YEARS OF MY LIFE TO YOU! I LOVED YOU ALL THESE YEARS. HOW COULD YOU BOTH BETRAY ME LIKE THIS? HOW??” I started wailing.

Nathan ran to me this point trying soothe me “I’m so sorry Abi” and tried to touch me before I screamed “GET YOUR FILTHY HANDS AWAY FROM ME!” he backed down with his hands raised as if to say he surrendered. And said “Abi, I never stopped loving you. It’s just complicated”.

I looked up at him with my hate filled gaze and said as coldly as possible, “Complicated? You just fucked my sister while being married to me. It’s not complicated. You are just a cheating bastard! Was one sister not enough for you?” He flinched away.

And I turned my gaze towards my sister and asked “I hope he was worth it for you to ruin our whole family and lose your sister forever as well as ruin your marriage”. Her face paled the moment I brought up her marriage. It was at this moment I realized how there is another innocent party who will be hurt cause of their doings. And unlike me, I don’t think that this other party will take it lightly.

“Please don’t tell him Abi” my sister pleaded with me. “I will divorce him and leave him for doing this to him but please don’t tell him about this” She started sobbing. I know that she was pleading with me cause her husband Rafael Santiago is not a man to be messed with. Once he gets to know about this there’s no saying what he would do to them. And I thought that right now, they hurt me beyond repair. And I wanted to cause damage to them so I mustered up the most sinister voice I could use and said “He deserves to know. And he will know about it”. Nathan looked mortified at my announcement.

I slowly stood up and gathered myself again. “I wanted to give a surprise to Nathan and came to get the materials from here, but instead I was surprised” I said with mockery and noticed how he had a pained expression. I’m not sure if I’m doing the right thing but I wanted to hurt them as much as they hurt me “Well congratulations you too! You just lost the right to be in my baby’s life with your act”

I would have laughed at their expressions if I was not hurting so badly right now when Nathan said “Abi, what do you mean? Are we pregnant?” his face was a mixture of shock, pain and happiness before it turned into disbelief.

“WE are not pregnant. I AM. This child will be mine and only mine. You lost rights to this child when you decided to fuck my sister while fucking me too” I sneered.

“NO! You can’t do that! It’s OUR child. We both have a right to OUR child.” He tried to argue.

“You can’t cheat on me but you did. So I will raise this child without you. My lawyer will make sure of that in our divorce agreement” I said finally and left before he could protest anymore.

I could hear him trying to come after me but in his current half-nakedness he had to get dressed. So I left the apartment as fast as I could and ran away as far as I could without a destination in mind.
