Chapter 32

Zachary had heard from Yvonne's manager that a man had entered Lexi's room.

Thus, he called Quinton to ask him to check if Lexi was safe.

She looked completely confused. "I'm fine. Did something happen?"

Quinton explained, "Yvonne's manager said that a man entered your room. Mr. Jenkins called me to come and have a look."

"Oh, all's good. That man is a friend of mine."

Since everything was clear and Quinton verified that Lexi was fine, he left to give Zachary the report.

When Quinton visited Zachary to update him, Yvonne wasn't in the living room.

"Ms. Loyle said that that man is a friend of hers."

"A friend?" Zachary repeated that word. In a cold voice, he continued, "Alright, then. You may go ahead and rest, Mr. Shaw. Thank you."

Quinton could feel that Zachary was displeased, but he didn't overthink about it. He turned around and left.

In the other room, Lexi called out to Claude. When she saw that he hadn't come out of the bathroom, she opened the bathroom door.
