Yvonne stood on one leg outside the hospital room.

Through the window, she watched Zachary and Lexi as they engaged in conversation.

A wave of jealousy surged within her heart.

She knocked on the door.

Her manager helped her sit down in her wheelchair. Then, they opened the door and entered the hospital room.

"Thank you very much for saving Zach today, Ms. Loyle." Yvonne placed a lunch box on the bedside table. "I brought some food for the both of you."

Lexi looked at Yvonne and replied coldly, "Thank you. I would have done the same no matter who it was."
