Chapter 5 : The Elders

"We have to help her." Said an old lady's voice.

"Yes, we will, Cassa. I know how she feels when her parents died." Replies by one of the ladies that are talking.

I can hear them talking about me. I felt half of my energy come back and I am sure that I can now open my eyes with this energy. However, I did not because these two people talking is not familiar to her when I heard their voices. And these two people talking don't sound the same as the three people I heard when I gain my Soul's consciousness. Their voices are more mature and big.

I heightened my senses and I found two souls on my each side and two in my front.

I kept my eyes closed as I acted that I was still sleeping and had not regained my energy yet. I am just listening to those ppl who will release a word. I am also making sure that if I sensed a threat or something that could hurt me, I will attack first before that person does...... Just a what if, you know???

It's been three minutes since I'm faking my sleep and all of them are no longer talking but I could feel that they are still here.

'I have to escape. I don't know if these people are dangerous for me' I thought.

I was about to think of a plan to escape when I heard someone scoff and spoke.

"It's been almost 4 minutes and she's still faking her sleep. What a phony." I heard a lady speak with rust on her tone.

I am stunned as they knew that I am only faking my sleep. Who are these people?

"Dear, you can now stop faking your sleep. We know you're awake 4 minutes ago." A calming voice spoke. 

I heard the lady with a rust tone laughs and then spoke, "Pfft!!! Open your eyes little kid. You're not a great actress, Dear." While laughing she said those words.

After hearing her, I opened my eyes carefully as the lights is making my eyes irritated. It hurts, you know?....

I then saw four people. The two ladies in my front are giving me such warm smiles. I looked to my right and I saw a Lady smirking at me and the Lady In my left is...... I think she's sleeping? Nevermind.

I took back my Attention to the two ladies in my front when the Lady was in her mid-thirties with a natural black hair color with gray old strands on it. Yeah, that says she's old enough for me to have respect for her, I guess?

"Oh my dear, Estelle." The said Lady spoke with empathy in her voice.

"......" I replied in silence. Who is this lady?

The Lady beside her interrupted with a laugh, "She wouldn't recognize you, Leilani. She didn't even see you." 

I examined the lady who laughed. She looks so pretty even though she's in her mid-thirties as well. Her blue eyes are a Bonus for her beauty.

"I know, Cassa. I'm just worried about her." The lady with spoke. I looked at them with confusion written on my face.

"Oh. We haven't told you our name, yet." She added and I just nodded because I don't know what word I should speak.

"I am Leilani Tala but witches in our tribe called me Mother Leilani." She begins to introduce her name. "This lady beside me is Cassa, one of my elders. Sampa is on your left that is currently sleeping and that one Lady wearing a smirk is Guita on your right.

I don't care about their names, I only care about escaping. I still don't know what to do though, but Escaping from her is the first thing I should do. And then I will make a Plan on how I can kill that Beta.

"Easy there, Girl." Sampa who slept earlier suddenly react. 

I stared at her confusedly, "H-huh?" I asked innocently.

"Girl, avenge? To whom? To those dumb fuckers who killed your parents?.... Tsk tsk, you still don't have the energy to fucking kill them, and yet you're already trying to make a plan? Also, can you handle yourself alone? Huh? Answer me! Huh?!" I was shocked at my place and almost fell on the bed I was sleeping in when Guita suddenly screamed at me. However, I got suddenly curious when I heard those words she shouted at me. 

How did she know that my parents were killed? And who is she to me?

"You still have to rest, dear Estelle. Your energy is not yet even completely come back. Also, do you think that in that kind of state of yours, will you gonna avenge your parents' death?" Sampa then spoke like Guita. And I notice they have the same face...... They are twins Estelle, you idiot. I thought to myself.

“I swear Estelle. If your Energy finally came back, I will assure you that I will be the one who will help you to kill that bastard Beta of your Pack! You still haven't practiced how you can shift to your Wolf form and yet you are trying to act strong as if you can handle your wolf-enhanced sense. Estelle, you are still weak right now!" Guita added.

I stared at Guita and Sampa blankly, "How did you know that my parents were killed?″ I asked. “How did you know me? Did you even know me in the first place?” I then again asked with a cold tone.

“Guita! She's still recovering. Stop screaming at her!” Cassa spoke. “And you Sampa, Handle you twin. She needs a complete rest before we even tell her everything we know.” She scolds Guita and Sampa.

Leilani sighed then spoke, “Sampa, go get your twin. I and Cassa will handle Estelle.” Leilani ordered and Sampa nodded. “Guita, go with her. You need to make your head cool.”

The two nodded at Leilani as if they were scolded by their mother. Sampa holds my hand and mouthed "Be better", and after that. They went out of the cave we were inside.

“I apologize for what Guita and Sampa's behavior that they showed you.” Cass elegantly said and so I nodded as I am still processing everything in my sanity.

“Take your rest then we will tell you everything we know about you, Estelle. For now, I can only say that I'm sorry for your loss.” Cassa added.

“Your parents will be remembered....” Leilani spoke before going out with Cassa.

Ugghhh!!! Everything seems so hard to swallow and to process! I can't even think completely because those people are totally unknown to me. I didn't even see a glimpse of their faces in my entire existence until now

Who are those people?

Are they ordinary people or a Lycan also?

What do they need from me?

Those were the questions that are messing my mind when they left me alone inside of this cave with a candle in every corner of this room.

IT IS BEEN an hour, I guess? when I woke up from sleeping after overthinking the scenario earlier. Those questions in my mind made me fall asleep, I didn't even get an answer to those questions!

I am waiting for those people to enter and tell me all the things they know about me. I should know it. While waiting for them, I decided to lift myself because I already gained my energy back.

When I am already standing, I then roam around the cave. On each side of this room in a cave, there is a word that I couldn't understand. It must be a historical word.

Minutes had passed, while I am still looking at those ancient words, I heard someone speak from my back.

“Girl, if you are thinking that those are some kind of ancient words, well you're not. That was just a doodle of Leilani when she was still a toddler” Guita almost choke between her chuckle.

I just stared at Guita. She has this angst vibe in her aura. Her way of clothes made her more like a badass. She's not wearing any dress like those three ladies I saw earlier. She's wearing camouflage cargo pants with a white-dirt undershirt. She has natural black boy cut hair, and that made her more look like a bad goon but still beautiful.

“Hey!” she called me.

“......” I answered in silence but I nodded at her.

She gave me a grin first before she speaks, “Hey Estelle! Follow me” When she turned around to walk, I then followed her right away.

While we're walking, I am roaming my eyes to every side of the hallway of this cave. I have to memorize every rooms and hallway I am gonna be inside. 

There is a Torch in every meter of this hallway, giving the light for us to see where they are going too.

I am putting up my guards, still. I don't know these people, They might hurt me because I am being so calm. However, instead of putting up my guards, I didn't realize that I am releasing my Bloodlust.

“Suppress your bloodlust, Estelle. Witches can't take your thirst in the killing. They might suddenly lose their consciousness.” Guita spoke with a husky voice. I immediately stop releasing my Bloodlust that I didn't realize.

Oh... So they are witches? I am just hearing them from my mother. She's always telling me that she has a friend which is a Witch. And mother told me that not all witches are good, some are bad who're horribly using curses. 

Wait... If all ladies and girls here are witches that cannot take my bloodlust, then why Guita can feel and is taking my bloodlust.

Suddenly, Guita spoke again. “Because I had a friend who's a wolf that taught me how can I take such a dominant bloodlust...” she just answered my question. “You might know that person who helped me,” she added.

Okay. Another dam question just added a mindful in my head. Why are these people are giving me such a Headache!

It's been a minute since we're walking when she entered a room. I then entered that room in this cave.

When I entered that room, seven people are waiting for me and Guita. Leilani, Sampa, and Cassa are the three ladies that I can recognize while the other lady is unknown to me. While three girls in their teens are also waiting for me. I don't know them though.

“Hi dear.” Leilani greeted me with a smile.

Cassa then went to me and guided me to sit on one of those seats at the table. There is food to where I am seated. I looked at the food and suddenly I felt the starvation in my body. I remember that I am still not eating since the day my parents were buried in the ground of Malraux Pack.

I looked at food in my front, and I could already hear my stomach, growling in hunger... And I think they heard it also.

“My dear Estelle is so fucking Starving! Give her more food!” Guita then screamed again. 

These foods in my front are already enough for me and yet she still wants to add more.

Samoa held my hand, wearing a calming smile. Telling me to eat the food, “Cassia... Can you get the foods I cooked? Please bring them here” She asked Cassia girl.

“We will...” Cassia nodded. Oh, is she the girl who found me? I can remember her voice. 

Then the three of them went out from the room to get those foods that Sampa cooked.

“You are free to eat that food, Estelle” Leilani said then I nodded.

“Thank you” I whispered then she smiles at me.

I took a bit of food from those foods that are served on the table and started to eat it.

Before I even put the food in my mouth, Guita shouted. “Don't be shy, Estelle. This food is all yours...” She said then took a lot of rice from the bowl and put it on my plate. “Her take some vegetables, it's good tor regaining your energy and also to your Health”

Why suddenly she's acting like a mom to me?

I just sighed at continued eating my food.
