Veronica

As soon as he said this, a young yet sexy woman barged into the office.

"Hey baby", the lady chirped and immediately walked towards Justin while ignoring the other two. 

Alice watched as her mate was being pecked and kissed. Her wolf whimpered in pain but there was nothing she could do. 

Meanwhile, Justin's father was fuming in anger. Times without numbers, he had tried telling his stubborn son that the slut wasn't good for him but he has always been ignored.

"Oh, father-in-law,  you're here?" The lady asked tauntingly.

"Veronica, that should be a rhetorical question right?", Justin's father scoffed in anger.  He knew Veronica Smith was a white lotus. In the presence of Justin, she was always acting like a saint but when he wasn't around, she'd show her true colors.

"Dad..", Justin forced out of his clenched teeth.

""Don't Dad me Justin, am i that small that she didn't see me first before walking over to you? Isn't she a werewolf? My scent isn't masked", Justin's father, Mr. Sylvester, scoffed out.

"I'm sorry father-in-law, I just missed Justin so much and all I could think of was him alone", Veronica smiled sheepishly. Then, she glanced at Alice who felt uncomfortable.

"Babe, who is she?", Veronica asked Justin while secretly glaring at Alice. 

"Oh..her? She's my son's new secretary", Mr. Sylvester answered immediately while Justin narrowed his eyes at his father in which the latter pretended not to notice.

"What! Babe...wh.... when did you get a new secretary and are you sure she's qualified for the job?", Veronica asked still smiling but anyone apart from Justin who's been blinded with love could tell that the smile was stiff.

Mr Sylvester who was at Veronica's throat found her statement as a way to choke her. He had never liked the lady right from time. She was a wolf in disguise.

"Veronica Smith, are you trying to say that Justin doesn't do his job as a CEO properly? Do you meann he his hasty to make reckless and stupid decisions?", He asked as he glared at Veronica.

"Erm...that isn't what I meant. I'm just concerned about the company", Veronica stammered out. If looks could kill, the innocent Alice who said nothing and Mr. Sylvester would be long gone by now.

"Whatever", Mr. Sylvester scoffed. He knew he couldn't keep dragging this matter as his son was too dumb to notice any loophole in it.

"So... Alice, since today is a Friday, you'll be coming to work as from Monday. Just so you know, there are some situations that'd warrant you to also come to work on Saturdays. So be prepared", Mr. Sylvester smiled warmly at Alice which calmed her nerves. She had been squirming on her feet for the past thirty minutes but everyone was too busy to notice it.

"No problem Sir, thank you, I promise not to disappoint you", Alice said. The fact that she was nervous didn't stop her from hiding her smile. Although, she was still unhappy about her mate being with another woman.

Before Mr. Sylvester could respond to Alice, a sultry and annoying voice was heard...

"You better don't!".
