The most important day of my life arrived. Grace was with me in my parents' room, helping me finish getting ready. I felt like a very pregnant princess.

"You look like a tent, but one of the cute ones," Grace said out of the blue.

I glared at her and she started laughing.

"Sorry, I'm just nervous. This is your first wedding. I'm as nervous as I was when I lost my virginity," she said.

I blinked a few times, still staring at her.

"How about you stop talking?" I suggested.

She immediately rolled her eyes.

"I'm just nervous," she said.

I moved closer to her and hugged her.

"I'm so happy that you're happy," she said with a trembling voice.

I pulled away and smiled. Grace was crying.

"Thank you for always being by my side, and thanks for all your advice, even though sometimes they're not the best," I said.

She hugged me tightly.

"Let's hurry out or we'll ruin our makeup," she said.

We both separated and smiled. Grace left the room, and moments later my father entered.
