Chapter 21 Meeting A Stranger

Celestine got up and she grabbed her sword. She tried to investigate as she saw a shadow was sneaking behind the bushes.

She caught the shadow from behind. She stood not too far from the shadow some kind of a figure of a person with a cloak.

She couldn’t see the face of the sneaking figure as the figure tried to kneel on the ground.

“Who are you?” She asked.

The lean figure turned around, pulling down the hoodie. A specific scent of odor was coming from him. It seemed he had come out from fiery battle…

Celestine could see his face under the light of the night. She sighed, put the handle of the sword back.

He grinned a smug. “What’s your business to ask?” He turned around again and continued to pick up some dried twigs.

He had a quite good looking beyond his smeared face. Some dirts were on his face as he got a long journey, heavy and uneasy road had taken.

He smelled some falling leaves. He appeared as the same age with her, he also picked up some falling fruits on the ground
