Chapter 22 The Villagers

They continued the journey after having a quick breakfast and Storm had enough time for grassing around.

As they passed through the campfires of those caravans the night before, all of them had gone. Their campfires were vanished into some ashes.

Celestine looked around. She inhaled and asked Storm to walk faster to leave the place.

“What happened to them?” Ersa who sat behind her asked.

Celestine sighed. “I don’t know. But the strange man last night told me something horrible, we should leave this free land soon before the mid day.” She explained.

They had spent three hours for taking a journey.

Storm stopped walking.

They reached at the small village near of the Wallachian border. It was a small village with some lands of crops.

Celestine got down from the horse after Ersa. She tied up Storm under a big tree. It was a little river streaming not far from their place.
