Heather POVMy first year of high school is almost finished. I have one week left, then I will be starting a six-week English course as one of my extra credits. Then, for the last two weeks of summer, I’ll be going to Blue Ridge to spend some time with Dawn, Jacob and Zane before the boys head out to their Alpha and Beta training. The time has gone faster than I thought. I was able to get one extra math credit done throughout the year, so once I get the English credit done, I will have ten credits instead of the usual eight for the first year. Reed POV“Well, I’m not sure how we managed, but we graduated,” Lucas says as he puts his arm around my shoulders as we were making our way out of the school for the last time. These last couple of years have been a struggle, but like Lucas said, we managed. After almost failing that second year of high school, Dad and Mom figured out we were not doing as well as they thought. We had tried to hide how badly we were doing, both of us in the opinion that we deserved to suffer for what we had done.
