Reed POV

It has been over a week since we saw Heather. She took the whole week off school and was holed up in the room going over all the paper work that was brought from Lyla’s. I miss her. Lucas and I tried to get her to talk to us the first three days she was here. We would go after training not even bothering to shower. Hoping that if our scents were stronger that it would help us convince her to open the door, but she wouldn't let us in. The third day, I think we had been making progress when Levi showed up saying that Dad was looking for us and hadn't been able to link us since we had put up blocks. After we had talked to Dad, Mom had stopped us on our way back up to the room. We had decided that we were going to sit in the hall all night and just wait for her. We couldn't take it anymore. Mom had suggested that we back off for a bit. Give her until the weekend and then try again. Not knowing for sure what to do, we followed Mom's suggestion. That was two days ago. I’ve been num
