Heather POV

Well, I did it. I graduated before the twins finished their Alpha training. Back in September when they had their first shift, I knew I needed to make sure I was done and out of here before they came back. I purposely stayed away from the packhouse that day. Luna Mona had invited me to be there but I didn't think it was a good idea. Just before I heard two new howls indicating that the twins had made it through their first shift, it was like something changed in the air that night. It was the same type of energy that we would experience when we were together near the look-out. I had an overpowering urge to go to them. I did everything I could to distract myself.
