Chapter 1: First Day I

5 years ago...-Jay redid her tie three times before she's satisfied with how it turned out. It's her first day of high school after all, and everything must be perfect. She looked at the mirror, and her reflection background shows the sterile white room. Her suitcase is laying on the floor in front of her closet and still has clothes inside, and the bathroom is barren of any beauty products except the necessaries such as soap and shampoo. Her textbooks are already nicely arranged on the shelves next to her desk, and that's the only lively thing about her room. Jay just moved into her dorm room yesterday, and she's more than happy to find out that her roommate cancelled last minute, so she has the room all to herself, but she still keeps to her side of the room. The girl decided to pick up her hair brush and went over her brunette bang one last time and tightened her wavy ponytail. Hmm... She needs a haircut soon. Then, her phone rings, so her hand quickly stops the alarm. This ala

Chapter 2: First Day II

"My name is JiJing Devin." Jay introduced herself to the class. "But you can call me Jay.""Devin?" The teacher's voice mumbled. "Sounds familiar." Jay's seat is right in front of his desk, she made sure to choose a seat which will help with her success in buttering up to teachers."You might have met my brother." Jay smiled slightly. "He's in senior year now." "Jake Devin." Mr. Zallik clicked his tongue, his fingers tapping on his chin where his beard seems to be thickest. He's close enough for her to see the timer on his watch, but she didn't mention that. "I see. Next."A girl sitting behind her stood up, she's quite tall. Her bleached hair, which contradicts beautifully with her tanned skin, is neatly tied into a ponytail. Her eyes are a familiar shade of dark blue-almost-black, and Jay immediately recognized it as the same ones as her brother's huge friend whom she bumped into this morning."Elyra Patrikovsky." Her voice is soft but demands attention."Patrikovsky?" The math te

Chapter 3: Call Me By Your Name I

Present Day....-As soon as Jay closed the door of the SUV, she was greeted by a baritone voice."How's your cousin?" The driver asked, his dark blue eyes hidden behind his sunglasses and facing the road, but Jay knows he's looking at her. "She's digging into the case." She flipped her wavy hair over her shoulders before she put on her seat belt. He snorted a little. "I'll get my people on it." She promptly shook her head, and her fingers made their way on to his thigh, tracing over the black gabardine fabric."Don't." She mumbled softly. "Hua needs all the support she can get, Jay. She deserves to be successful, you know. She worked hard to be where she is now, and I don't want her to fail." "And us?" He said back, his eyes wandered to hers as he stopped at a red light. Her fingers gripped on his thigh, and a hot shiver ran down his spine along with a pang of arousal.Another look into her deep brown eyes, and he can already tell what she's thinking."Alright." He licked his low

Chapter 4: Teen Idle I

5 years ago...-There's something strange about her homeroom teacher, Jay just couldn't place a finger on it. She felt it around day two or three, his vibe was... Not so good? Also, he usually smiled more at female students. But, that's pretty normal since the male students in her class are a bit of a rowdy bunch. Well, a few of the boys did manage to come in before the bell rings, only to fall asleep before class even starts. She came to class early on a Friday morning. The first session is biology, a subject which Jay kind of enjoys learning, but not really into it. But, still she opened her textbook and started reading about bones, unlike the boy two seats behind her who came in early only to pass out on his desk. Why do they need to study about bones anyways? Not all of them are gonna grow up to be doctors. Sure, they need the basic knowledge for just-in-case situations, but a ten page lesson with four picture diagrams seems to be a bit of an overkill. "Hi." A blur of ginger

Chapter 5: Teen Idle II

Her eyes kept wandering to his hands, taking in each and every bruised knuckle and the tiny cuts that were still bleeding red. What did he do? Was he attacked? Did he attack others? Does it hurt? Jay resisted the urge to ask those questions as well as the urge to reach out and hold those big hands, running her fingers along every scar and veins to get the texture—That's such an inappropriate thought; she mentally slapped herself. Just because something is interesting doesn't mean she must touch it. "Hey, Jay?" Jay snapped back to reality at the mention of her name. "Oh... Yes? Did you say something?" "I said what you're getting?" The older boy pointed at the menu behind the cafeteria lady. His dark blue eyes stared down at her from his impressive height; Jay doesn't know his exact height, but she's guessing that he's at least 6"4, because he's taller than her brother. "Just..." Her lips parted slightly, her brain doesn't seem to cooperate with her. "Strawberry milk and pudding.

Chapter 6: Teen Idle III

Jay is pretty sure that Elyra wants to punch her brother in the face, but the tall girl only clenched her jaw slightly. The older Jay got up from his seat and fixed his tie. He made no move to lower his rolled up sleeves. Oh, the way those sleeves are rolled up bugged Jay in a way that she can't describe, and she wants nothing more than to lower those shirt sleeves and gently roll them back up evenly."Elyra, if you don't wanna go back home for the holidays, just don't go. It's not that hard." His dark blue eyes met his sister's, and both of them held each other glazes for a moment."Okay." Elyra responsed in then tense silence."I'm going to class for real." Jay got off the bench and began walking a few steps down the corridor before she stopped abruptly to look back. "Elyra, are you coming? Class starts soon." Her classmate blinked, her eyes widened in surprise."Go to class, Elyra. Cya, hamster." He turned to the opposite direction, even though Jay knows fully well that the other

Dark blue eyes kept their focus on wrapping the bandage on his knuckles. It's been a long week, and it's just Friday. He still has Saturday to go through before he can sleep in on Sunday. The new nurse— nurse assistant? The school nurse intern? — is looking at him weird from across the room. That's fine, Jay is used to stares and mumbles thrown his way. He's also a regular at the nurse office. The nurse, Miss Wakefield, doesn't mind him being here. He makes her job less boring, she said. As if dealing with the freshmen jumping off stairs isn't busy enough for her. Apparently, two freshmen had the bright idea to jump off the stairs today, showing off their parkour skills or shit. Jay was also a freshman once, and wisdom is not really presented at that age. He himself also did something stupid. Anyways, Miss Wakefield gave them the usual wound wash and bandages. Since day one of highschool, he landed in her office so many times that she stopped questioning what happened. Sometimes wh

Chapter 9: Call Me by Your Name II

Present day... - Her phone started ringing that grating alarm bell ringtone, vibrating like an earthquake on the nightstand. She remembered plugging it in last night, she should've left it to die if she knew someone would call her so early in the morning. Jay peeled herself off her very comfortable cushion which rediate heat in the chilly late autumn weather. Said cushion just happens to be the love of her life's very naked chest, and he grunted in response to her pushing herself off him. Her eyes met his barely opening ones, and she's pretty sure those dark blue eyes are begging her to come back. However, she hates the ringtone, so she shrugged, hopefully he got the message. He got the message, but instead of moving his arms off her and allowing her to reach for the phone, his hand reached for it and roughly pulled off the charger before holding it in front of her face. Her index finger tapped the speaker mode. "Hello?" Jay's sleepy voice said out before she could look at the c
