Cassandra's POV

I walked out of the children's room after putting them to sleep and was going to my room to prepare for bed when I saw Liam walking out of the room dressed in a suit.

"Do you have to meet with someone this night?" I asked him as we met each other.

"Actually, no," he replied and I frowned. "I'm taking you out."

"What?"

"Yes. We've been arguing a lot these days so I want us to have a nice night together for once," he told me and I smiled. "I prepared a date for us and now, I want you to go get dressed so that we can go out."

"Where are we going?" I enquired.

"Somewhere special, it's a surprise," he grinned.

"Oh really? Why are you just telling me then? What if I declined your offer? What would you have done with what you have planned?"

"I knew that you would accept to go out with me and even if you wanted to reject the offer, I was aware that I could change your mind," he stated confidently.
