Jason's POV"Hello Cassandra," I answered as soon as I saw her call.I had gotten one of my wolf outbursts shortly after falling asleep so I was just recovering from the shock when I saw her call."Cassandra, it's late. Is anything wrong?" I questioned when she didn't speak immediately."It's Liam," I heard on the other side and frowned."What is going on and why are you calling me with Cassandra's phone? Did you think I would have blocked your number? I like to keep my enemies close, you know," I replied."This is not the time for that kind of conversation, Jason. Do you think that I will call you in the middle of night because of that?""So what is it?""Cassandra and I are in the hospital right now," he began."What?" I jumped up from my bed in shock. "What happened to Cassandra? Is she alright?""Cassandra's fine," he answered. "Just a little distraught," he added and I frowned. "Mason fell down at home and is presently in the hospital.""What?" I exclaimed in an even greater pani
Liam's POV I was totally bummed when I had to get off Cassandra just when she was finally giving me full access to her body. It wasn't like she never let me touch her at all but she always stopped our makeouts at kisses and I was never allowed to take any of her clothing off.At first, I tried exploring her body with her clothes on, hoping that someday she will be too turned on to stop me from going further. However, she wouldn't even let me touch her much even though her clothes were on and eventually, I realized that I just got myself turned on for no reason.I concluded that she would tell me when she was ready and stuck to just kissing her without even letting it go on for too long. Even with those precautions, I still had to resort to jerking off multiple times but less frequently as time passed till I barely had those moments anymore. We also never shared a room until moving to this house as I always slept in her sitting room when I stayed over at her house in the past and
Cassandra's POV Jason pushed open the door to the emergency ward and I expected him to walk in but he stepped aside, ushering me to go ahead. He had been so caring ever since getting here; holding my hand, giving me a hug and his soft words. It was really comforting and it felt even more nice to be able to let my feelings show.I trudged towards Mason's bed with a heavy heart and just then, Liam held my hand."Come on, Cassandra. Don't be scared," Jason encouraged and patted my shoulder.I was so lucky to have two wonderful people supporting me in this situation."Mason," I muttered as I got to the bed and held his little hand.I had been so scared all along and though I was presently feeling better, I didn't think that I would be fine until he finally woke up. Except that we had no idea when he would wake up. Would he wake up once the sedative wore off or would he sleep till morning?Jason pulled a nearby chair over for me to sit and I sat down, still holding Mason."Are you sure
Cassandra's POV I really don't know what was up with Mason, he was really being unreasonable right now which wasn't like him one bit. He always understood my requests, bending in whatever way would be convenient for me right from when he was a child. Why was he requesting to live with Jason now? What was the origin of that request?I had only said that I would let him live with Jason to get him to stop crying especially as we were in front of the hospital but I was certainly not going to let him stay with Jason for obvious reasons. For one, Jason had to work. Being the owner of such a large company must require a lot of effort and he had been spending so much time with the children. He was barely having enough time for his business, not to mention having to take out more time to nurse Mason.Even if he were to take out more time to nurse the child, how many hours could he spare? Mason was sick and needed constant attention which he definitely couldn't provide. I didn't want my chi
Cassandra's POV I felt my head pound as Mason told me that I was being wicked simply because I wasn't letting him go off with Jason. It really hurt me a lot but I didn't even feel like conceding to his wishes just to make him happy. How was I supposed to let him out of my sight when he wasn't feeling fine? He was even suffering an ailment which was not normal but due to a domestic accident and he wanted to be away from me?I watched with teary eyes as Jason gently reprimanded Mason, completely speechless at the moment."Mommy," Mason called after being talked to by Jason and walked towards me. "Mommy, I'm sorry, you're not wicked, I just really want to go with Daddy," he pouted.A tear dropped from my eye as I watched him speak and I quickly cleaned the tear, wondering what was wrong with me. Was it because I was so worried? I normally didn't cry so easily."Mommy is crying," Mason realized and tears filled his own eyes as he concluded that he was the reason I was crying.I was hu
Liam's POV I felt really uneasy about leaving Jason alone with Cassandra and Mason but that was really the best option. I couldn't continue staying in the hospital as the two boys were going to be waking up soon and would be upset if they realized that their brother and us, their parents were gone.I needed to send them off to school where they would be occupied so that I could focus on taking care of their brother and mother. I would have sent Jason home but the last thing I wanted was for him to be spending time in my house without having any supervision. So I hurried out of the hospital after informing Jason of my intents since Cassandra was sleeping and got into my car. It felt so relieving to finally sit down properly after spending the entire night shuffling between the chairs outside and Mason's side since there was no other chair available except the one Cassandra sat on, sleeping. When I finally arrived at my home, I hurried into the house since it was already late and m
Cassandra's POV Mason was being really audacious right now. Why did he just hand over the phone like that? Did he really not want to talk to Liam anymore? Was meeting his father turning him into something else now?I really liked the new change in his attitude after meeting Jason until right now."Hello Liam," I spoke as I raised the phone to my ear after turning off the loudspeaker."Where is Mason?" He asked."He has given the phone to me.""Is he being real right now? Or is Jason behind this? Why is he making the child turn against me? Is he trying to take my place? He was the one who suggested that Mason came to his house, wasn't he?" Liam vented."Liam...""You're also in support of this, aren't you? You want to use Mason's attachment to Jason as a tool to further your revenge plan, don't you?""I'll be back once Mason has settled down, I will still try if he will decide to come home with me when I'm leaving though," I started concluding the call.He was obviously too jealous
Cassandra's POVHow was I supposed to come home already when I was just getting to Jason's house? It didn't even make any sense that he was asking that question."Of course not, we're just getting to Jason's house," I whispered into the speaker."How can you say that? I was just starting to head home when I called you last," he argued."You haven't been to Jason's house before so you don't know where it is.""And so what?""Can I just call you back later?" I requested."Too busy talking with Jason to answer me?" He retorted."No, we're in a public place so I actually can't talk," I muttered just as I noticed Jason staring at me."Fine, we'll talk when you get home. Just make sure you come back quickly, don't take too much time there," he replied in a surprisingly calm tone."Okay," I mumbled."I love you," he told me and I felt blood rush to my face slightly.Liam usually didn't say that so easily."Bye," I only said before hanging up. "Sorry," I apologized as joined Brian in sitting
