Chapter 102

Jason's POV

I headed towards my car after escorting Liam and his business associates out from the launching event and a guard opened the door for me even before I got close enough. After I walked into the car, someone put my briefcase in beside me before the door was shut.

It had not been too long after I started going home when my phone started ringing and I picked it up only to see that it was Cassandra. Was something wrong? Or did they forget anything?

"Hello Jason," she spoke once I answered the call.

"Hello Cassandra, is anything wrong?" I questioned in response.

"No, not at all. I was just calling about the date," she said making me relieved but curious at the same time.

"Oh really, what is it?" I asked her.

"So... I was just... Liam just told me that he already planned to go out with me this evening," she revealed.

Hmm, Liam was really beginning to try harder to be closer to Cassandra. He must be really scared of losing her and I understood that feeling, but it was no excuse fo
