Chapter 130: A Snake
Haylee hand unconsciously touched the diamond necklace around her neck when Niel said that. She looked down at the diamond pendant that sparkling beautifully on her upper chest.
"Why? You don't like the necklace too?" Niel asked with a steely tone.
"No. Of course, I like it," Haylee answered him carefully, feeling afraid of awakening the beast that was sleeping silently inside of him.
After dinner, Niel made her sit on the bed and he went to the grand piano, serenading her with some melodious music. It should have been a romantic night, but something really didn't feel right in her heart. Haylee just stared at him emptily. A while later, he stopped playing the piano and joined her on the bed.
