"Mom," I called out as I walked downstairs. Camila glanced at me briefly before quickly looking away.

"Good morning, Master," she said, addressing me in the formal way my mother insisted on, which grated on me. I didn't want to accept the greeting, but I had no choice.

"Ronan, you're up! You must have slept like a log," my mother said with a bright smile.

"How can you live like this? No butler, no workers, nothing. Just you, Camila, and Katya. Why are you isolating yourself? Is it because of Arya? Are you still heartbroken?" she asked, her voice laced with concern.

I shook my head, trying to dispel her worries.

"Far from it. I was over her before she left," I said, feeling the urge to leave the conversation. But my mother reached out and held me.

"At least have a cup of tea with me," she insisted, motioning for Camila to serve me.

"I'll serve myself. Go and eat your breakfast, Camila. Kenneth will clean up," I told Camila, trying to give her a break.

Oh god!! I was kinda turning to like his mother a bit but then she spoke of separation and my hatred for her came back. This is insane. I hope they can low key help her and not separate them
