Chapter 3

"Mrs. Griffin, Vianne can't be married!

I know it's necessary but you have to wait at least 2 years until she recovers!" I just bent down my head, my eyes were just on the plate. I thought Doc. Sanchez would come this Friday, but she's already here.

"Doc., we've already talked about this, and we knew that Vianne haven't recovered yet, but she'd be okay, right? If she always take her medicine, maybe she will recover within this year " mom replied.

"Mrs. Griffin, yes! There is a possibility that she will recover, but when she's with a man all the time do you think there will be no symptoms in her? Yes, she can talk to men now, but that's not enough for her to get married!" I held her hand to calm her.

“Doc., we’ve already talked about it and I agreed” I said.

I immediately saw the pity in her eyes.

"I know, I'm not well yet, but I'll probably get well this year."

Mom and doctor took a deep breathe.

"Doc. Sanchez, I also don't want this arranged marriage for Vianne, but we can't lose our company. How can we spend money on Vianne's treatment? And we still have debts to pay."

The doctor sighed again.

"I'm going to add something and drink it now Vianne to speed up your recovery and make sure you do it." the doctor told me. 

*Kringgggg....*

"Oh! Excuse me, I'll just answer this call." We nodded and Mom came out from the kitchen. 

"Vianne, be strong okay? We're here for you. If you are in pain, just tell me," doctor said.

I just nodded and looked at her. She was the one who took care of me when mom and dad were busy. She was my parent and I was thankful that I met her.

"You need to sleep later, Vianne. You have a huge eyebags." She looked into my eyes.

I smiled. "Yes, doctor, I will!"

"The next time I come here, I will bring additional medicines to speed up your recovery. Right now, you need to observe how you feel when you are close to the man. Do you understand, Vianne?"

"Yes, Doc, and thank you for everything."

She was about to speak when Mom came in "Sorry, sweetie, but I have to go. I have important errands to do."

"I'm also leaving, Mrs. Griffin. We'll have a meeting next time."

I accompanied them out. Mom got into the car first while Doc. Sanchez was here beside me.

"Sweetie, you should text or call your fiancé some time so you'll be closer." Mom said.

My mood changed after hearing that.

"I'll send his number to you, okay? Bye, sweetie." she kissed my cheek before closing the car's window.

"Hayyyysss!! Texting is better than being together" I whispered.

I just watched the car drove away until it disappeared from my sight. I immediately went to the doctor when she spoke.

"Are you going to be okay here? I need to leave because I still have a meeting." she said.

"Don't worry about me, doc. The maids are here, they'll take care of me."

She smiled at me and got in her car.

"Vianne, don't stress yourself too much, okay? I'll be back next week. Call me when you need anything." doctor said.

I nodded and waved at her. I went back inside when their car was out of my sight.

I felt a deafing silence as I got inside the house.

"I'm alone again" I said in my mind.

I sighed and just watched a movie.

Days went by, and my mom always teases me that I need to text my fiancé. I won't do it! They are so annoying!

We're not close, even if it's just a "hi". I won't type anymore, I get cringey thinking about it.

Like Ewwww?!

I did my evening routine, laid in my bed and fell asleep.

Woken up from my alarm clock.

I'm going to watch the sunrise today, that's why I woke up early.

I did my daily routine first before going down. I was still on the stairs when I smelled something from the kitchen. Hilda probably cooks because she remembers all the days when I watched the sunrise.

"Hilda, what are you cookin--" I stopped talking when I saw that it wasn't Hilda who was cooking. I got nervous.

"Hilda!!!" I shouted.

"Ma'am?" I breathed a sigh of relief as Hilda walked towards me.

I looked at her and she understood what I was implying.

"Ahmm, he came just now and he wanted to cook breakfast today. So I let him." Hilda explained.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

"Vianne, are you okay? Calm down, don't be nervous, just don't be close to him"

Our eyes met as I opened my eyes. I averted my eyes and turned to Hilda.

"You can go back to what you were doing" Hilda nodded and left in front of me.

I took a deep breath and I was about to pass when he spoke the word that stopped me from walking.

"Good morning!"

I ignored him and walked again.

"Breakfast is ready. You should eat first" I ignored him again and walked. I was about to get out of the kitchen when he suddenly touched me. I was so shocked that I grabbed my hand and shouted.

"Don't touch me!"

The maids quickly went to check us.

"Ma'am, are you okay?"

I breathe heavily.

"W-water" I said.

Someone handed me water and I saw It was him. I immediately took and drank it.

"Are you okay, ma'am?"

"I'm okay." Out of breath I said.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ---"

"I still don't want to eat because I'm still full and I have to look at something now. So please, don't touch me"

I went out and went to the beach immediately and it's good that the sun hasn't come out yet.

"When will I be healed?" I asked myself.

I was just amazed while looking at the sea. I looked up at the sky as the sun began to rise.

Even though I've already watched it a few times, It still amazes me because it's just so beautiful.

I was just stunned looking at the sun when my vision suddenly got blurred because of the tears formed in my eyes.

I was still looking at the sun even though my vision was blurred because of the tears. It's just funny that the sun was still beautiful even though I couldn't see it clearly.

"I want to be a sun because it's beautiful, and I want my life to be beautiful everyday." I said to myself.

I just cried for awhile then looked at the sun again.

I'm going back home because I'm done watching.

Before I could enter the house, I saw him in the garden reading a book. I ignored him and entered the house. I immediately went to the kitchen to eat.

I got a plate and spoon and got fried rice and an omelette.

I was eating happily when someone came into the kitchen and I looked at who it was.

It's him. My fiancé.

He went to the refrigerator and got some juice.

"I'm sorry about earlier" I said. My eyesight was still on the food.

I felt like he looked at me, but my attention was still on the food.

"It's okay, it was my fault anyway."

I felt him walked towards me to sit on the chair beside me but I immediately stopped him.

"Don't come close to me, you can sit ..." I looked at the chairs "there!"

I pointed to the chair that was far from me.

He didn't complain and just followed what I said. Silence filled in the kitchen.

"Why ---"

"Why ---"

We spoke at the same time.

"You first" he said, so I spoke.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"To be with you"

Third Person's POV

A man is waiting inside the house, while waiting for its owner.

The man smiled when he saw the car parked just outside from the house now.

The man waited a while for the owner.

"Mr. P-Parker!" the woman stammered, when she saw the man.

"It's been a long time!" said the man and hugged the woman.

The woman could hardly breathe as the man hugged her, but when the man parted from hugging her, she smiled--a fake smile.

"What are you doing here, Mr. Parker?" the woman asked, trying not to stutter.

The man immediately became serious, "I want to visit you, am I not allowed to do that?"

The woman got immediately scared and stuttered.

"It's not like that" the woman forced a smile. "I'm just used that you only comes here for a few months because I know you're busy."

"You're right, I should have come here next month but someone didn't reply to me and I was worried" he said sarcastically.

The woman immediately got nervous.

"I-I'm s-sorry" the woman immediately knelt down.

The man laughed, "Why are you sorry huh? Have you done anything wrong?" the man said smiling.

"I-I'm sorry" the woman cried even more, so the man's smile disappeared and he pulled out the gun and pointed it at the woman's head.

The woman shout so he closed his eyes in annoyance.

"SHUT UP! And pressed the gun to the woman's head.

"Remember this, fix the mess you made. When something happens that won't go according to my plan, you know what's gonna happen to your child."

The man immediately stood up from his seat and walked towards the door.

"Ah, I almost forgot!" said the man and turned to the woman again "maybe it's not just the child that will be in danger, but you too" he said happily and shot the flower Vase close to the woman.

He left the house and got in the car.

"At the Bar" he said to his personal driver.

He looked at the gun and aimed it at the driver's head. The driver got scared.

"Don't worry. I won't shoot you" he said and the driver calmed down.

"Bang! Bang!" he said softly, while the gun was still pointed at the driver's head.

"That's how I'm going to kill you, Logan.
