Chapter 4

I Immediately threw my phone after calling mom. 

I asked her why didn't she tell me that guy was coming here and why she allowed it. And what she said was ...

"I know you'll be locked in your room and you won't pay attention to him, so I didn't tell you, what about it if he's there? He's your fiancé, and he has the right to come to you, and that's good for you to know each other."

I just rolled my eyes everytime I remembers it.

I went downstairs and just slowed down to see if he was cooking in the kitchen. But I didn't hear anyone cooking, so I walked towards the kitchen. The food is ready, so I look at the dishes. 

"Did he cook it?" I just shook my head.

"What's gotten into you, Vianne?! Did you expect him to cook for you every day? Hilda, probably cooked it!" I said in my mind.

I nodded at what was being said in my mind. 

"Hilda!" I shouted.

"Ma'am?" Hilda came out from nowhere.

"Make me some juice" I said before taking a spoon and plate.

"Okay, ma'am" Hilda replied.

"I'll make it for her" said the man leaning against the door jamb.

"No, you do it, Hilda. I want an orange juice" I strongly said.

The man walk towards Hilda and she left immediately.

I fiercely looked at Hilda, but she just gave me an apologetic look.

I sighed again and continued eating. Moments later, someone placed juice in front of me.

Then he seated far from my seat.

"Good. I thought he didn't understand what I was saying yesterday" 

Speaking of yesterday,

                        FLASHBACK

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"To be with you" he simply said.

I was stunned by what he said.

"W-what?" I stuttered.

"To be with you" he simply said "I want to know my future wife"

"You already know me" I said without looking at him.

"Yes, I know you" he said. I looked up at him, and as soon as I looked up he was already looking into my eyes. "I know your name, but I don't know your hobbies, favorites and dislikes"

"Do you still need to know that?" I asked, confused. 

"Yes, because it's like I have something to say when someone do an interview to me. So you should know about me too, so that you can also say something when you're going to interview."

"Interview? Why should we be interviewed?"

"I see, you look curious now" he said, smiling "Shall we start now?"

I sighed and leaned my back in my chair.

"Okay" I said "But I'll ask you a question first" I said and he nodded, so I started asking.

"What's your name again? I'm sorry I forgot" I asked and he smirked.

"I'm Logan Gray"

"Age?"

"30"

"Woah, I thought we were at the same age because his face doesn't look old"

"Why are you asking like this? It's like you're asking your new playmate" he said, laughing. 

I crossed my arms.

"Okay, Vianne, let's start"

“So why do we need to get to know each other ? And why did you say we would be interviewed? "

"I'm a Doctor and I'm a business man" he said.

"Woah!"

"We need to get to know each other because I am a famous Doctor and business man and when they knows that I am engaged many people will interview us"

"Huh! He's so full of himself'"

I secretly rolled my eyes.

"You will come with me when I'm going to announce our engagement"

"What?!" I shouted "Wait, why are you taking this marriage too serious? You don't need to pretend that you're happy because I know you don't. You were just forced to marry me"

"I want this wedding" he said and I couldn't answer.

"He's just kidding, right?"

"I'm not joking. I really want to get married and have a family " he said, while looking into my eyes.

"Is he a mind reader?"

I averted my eyes from him "Maybe, you'll only get your inheritance when you get married" I said, laughing.

"No, I have a lot of money" he seriously said.

"Huh?!"

I couldn't answer, so the kitchen fell silent again.

"Okay, I'll ask you first" he said and I nodded.

He asked me about my age, hobbies, dislikes and so on. What he asked from me was also what I asked to him.

"Wait, how can you manage being a Doctor while you're a business man?"

"I'm more focused in being a doctor. My cousin, Brick, is the one who's keeping an eye at the company, but he can't do anything without my permission"

I nodded at what he said. I can picture him now as a "Goodboy". He said he was a "goodboy" when we first met.

We’ve been talking about a minutes now and I don’t feel anything weird like nervousness and getting panic. I should tell Doctor Sanchez, it looks like I'm really getting better.

"By the way, where do you work?" His question brought me back to reality. I look at myself. He is a famous doctor and business man, and I was just like this, a girl who was raped and who was imprisoned at home for 15 years.

"I-I U-uhmm ..."  I stammered, I can't look at him. 

'I can't tell him right now. I'm not ready."

"I'm sorry, I still have things to do" I said and stood up.

"Wai ---" I quickened my walk up the stairs.

I went into my room and leaned against the door. I know it's unfair not to tell him, but I still can't really tell, I'm still scared.

I was just in the room after that. I just told Hilda to bring me lunch.

"I wonder what he's doing?"

I slapped my head.

"Why are you curious for what he's doing now, huh?"

I picked up my cellphone and posted on i*******m.

"When can I tell him?" then I posted.

I didn't expect anyone to like and comment because all my accounts F******k, Twitter, YouTube and I*******m are all private.

I thought about what he said earlier.

"I wanted this wedding. I really want to get married and have a family."

My heart ached immediately when I remembered what he said earlier. What if he finds out? What will be his reaction? Will he be angry with me? Will he accept me?

I have many questions on my mind. I didn't realize that I had fallen asleep.

                 END OF FLASHBACK

"I waited for you to come down here so we could eat together, but here you are eating." he said, while taking food.

"Huh! Did I tell you to wait for me?" I sarcastically said.

"I just want us to eat together and I cooked your favorite foods " he said.

I looked at the food I ate, and he was right they were all my favorites.

"Next time, don't cook. Let Hilda take care of it. She knows everything on what to do." 

"I want to do anything for you" he replied, and I didn't expect that so....

*Cough*Cough*

He moved quickly and took some water and gave it to me. I drank it immediately but in the middle of my drinking, he stroked my back to calm me down but I felt different. My heart was beating fast .... I'm nervous.

I immediately walked away from him and....

"I said, don't touch me!" I shouted at him.

"Why is he doing this? He's so kind to me"

"I'm sorry, I was worried about you"

"Don't touch me! Don't worry about me! Don't be kind to me and don't cook" there is emphasis in every word that I've said. "Let the maids do that for me."

He sighed and spoke calmly.

"Okay, I understand. Just calm down"

I ignored him and went upstairs, to my room.

"I don't want him to be nice to me, I'm even more guilty"

I'm here in the garden, doing yoga. I prefer doing it here because the air is fresh.

After what happened earlier, I didn't see him anymore and it was good that he understood.

I immediately got up and went to the table to drink some juice, but as soon as I sat down, I saw a book on a chair, so I picked it up and read its title. 

"Ma'am, is Sir Logan's book here?"

I looked behind me as Hilda appeared.

I looked at the book I was holding.

"I guess, this is Logan's book" I said and gave it to her.

She took it and left. I wanted to ask where Logan was but I stopped myself.

I drank my juice first before going back to yoga. 

I haven't seen him all day, so I can breathe easily.

I did what I do every day.

But for a moment, I thought of him. There is a part of me that is thankful that he followed what I said but why I'm so curious about what he is doing now?

"I can't believe, I looked for him and I hate it"
