Gabe Point of View
I am frozen in shock as I stare at her face. I have not seen her in eight years, and despite looking for her, I never found her.
"Is there anywhere I can charge my phone, it's almost dead and I have calls to make." She says, and Caly nods, taking her phone, from her and freezing.
"You were pregnant." She says, and Emmaline nods. My heart is in my throat.
"What is i -- Oh My God." April gasps, then passes the phone to August, who face mirrors theirs.
Emma just stares at me the entire time, and I can see it clearly on her face, she knows that the curiousity must be killing me.
"Here you go." August says, giving me the phone.
On her screen, they are three children, two girls and a boy -- the boy looks so much like I do, it is like staring at the past, and the girls, fuck.
My knees buckle with the information, and I grip the couch before I fall to the ground, making the phone fall from my hand.
Esme picks it up, and I see disdain all her face.
"If it has child support you want, you will get it, and must leave." She says, and Emmaline laughs.
"Quiet, darling. You don't want to ruin your makeup, do you?"
"Esme, April, August, Carly, I need you all to excuse me, I need to talk to Emmaline." I say, and she stares at me.
"Emma." She corrects in anger and I bite my lips, I have missed her.
"Gabe." Esme says and I resist the urge to correct her, again.
"Leave." I order, and she glares at me, throws the phone to Carly, and walks out.
"I will make sure it is charged, I am so glad that you are back."
Emmaline smiles at her, and soon, we were alone.
"Where are they?" I say, and she stares at me.
"His name is Lucien, and the girls are Rosaline and Camilla." She says, and there's a twig in my chest, Lucien is my middle name.
"They have been kidnapped." She says, and I walk closer to her.
"What did you just say?"
"My children have been kidnapped and I was wondering if you could help me find them." She says, and I narrow my eyes at her.
"Your children?"
"Yes, Gabe, you lost the right to call the triplets your children when you told me to abort them." She sneers, and I take a step back.
"Who kidnapped them?" I say to her, with my arms crossed.
"If I knew that I wouldn't be here, will I?"
"We can talk about this later, you need to freshen up." I say, staring at her.
"Real subtle." She rolls her eyes.
______
I stand outside the bathroom, my hands folded, trying to understand everything. I have three children, and they have been kidnapped.
"What are you doing here?" She walks out, with the towel tied around her, my gaze move to her shoulder, and I see that the Tattoo we got is still there.
"I am not letting you out of my sight." I say, looking away from her.
"You are eight years too late." She says, and there's an undertone of sadness in her voice sadness that I caused.
I walk outside my room, giving her the space to dress, I sit down by the door, feeling overwhelmed. I have three children and they have been kidnapped.
I picture their faces in my mind, and say their names. Lucien, Rosaline and Camilla. Emmaline has always been everything I wanted, she has given me everything, I was young, power-driven and stupid, I lost a diamond.
"I'm done." I hear her say, so I get up, and walk inside, where I see her seated on the bed, in my shirt and short. Fuck me, she looks so beautiful.
"The choices were either yours or your bride's." She says, and I recognize the jealousy, it makes me smile.
"Can you tell me everything." I say, sitting on the bed, but with space in between us.
"Well, we live in New York, were getting Icecream, when they were kidnnaped." She says, and I see the fear in her eyes.
"I have been getting notes, twice now. The first was when they were kidnapped." She says, pulling something from her bag. I stare at the note, and I grit my teeth.
"I tried to get the Police to find them but they dismissed me, I almost burned it down. Then, I went to the Alpha, and they also dismmissed me. I was tired and frustrated. I went home, and got attacked."
"What?" I sit upright, now noticing her scars.
"I got attacked by a man, and he almost killed me, but I was able to kill him. Before he died, he told me that it was'nt my fight, and he set himself on fire. I packed what I could find, and booked a last minute flight."
"On the plane, I got another note." She says, and hands it to me.
I get up, running my hands through my hair in anger.
"I was hoping you will help me find them, and maybe know who the kidnapper is. After all, it is not my fight, maybe it is yours." She says, folding her legs under her, she looks so comfortable, and her skin, like milk, but I need to focus.
"Okay, we will find them." I reassure her.
"There's this Mage, a friend told me about, she could track them." She says and I glare at her.
"A mage? Absolutely not." I snap, and she gets up.
"I am not asking for your permission." She says, and I bite my fist.
"Emmaline," I say, and she scoffs.
"It is Emma."
"Can you tell me about them?" I say, sitting beside her.
She is silent for a minute before she speaks "Lucien looks like you, but acts like I use to. He is a very smart boy, and curious about life. He is knowledgable and beautiful. He is very protective of his girls, and loves them so much, he acts as their elder brother and they let him."
She pauses, and a tear slid down.
"Rosaline is basically fire, she looks like me, but acts like you. She is so divine, and a talkactive. Rose loves to look after her siblings, and loves the fact that they are triplets, she is never alone, and never makes me feel alone."
She smiles as tears slid down.
"Camilla is the bookworm of the Family, she is always encouraging her siblings to read, and she has a very blunt mouth, she asks of you, they all do." She looks at me and I stiffen.
"What do you tell them?" I ask, and she smiles.
"I tell that their Father is a very powerful man, who protects them, and fights their batle, I tell them that they would soon see him when they are older and stronger."
"I would like to meet them." I say, overwhelmed.
"Let's find them first." She says, her eyes clouding with tears.
_______
"Wana explain?" Esme sneers when I finally pick her call.
''I don't have to explain anything to you, Esme." I say, staring at Emmaline's sleeping figure.
"We are getting married in five months, I think you have to explain, Gabe." She says, her vpice dripping in anger.
"Gaberiel. How many times do I have to correct you?" I say, and pause when I hear voices from the Living Room.
"She is the woman, whose name you tatted on your chest right? Give me some fucking credits, it is five months to my wedding, and I am discovering that my Fiance has three children."
"I have to go, Esme." I say, and she sighs.
"Also, I think we need some time apart, I need my full attention on something. I will call you when I can."
"Fuck you, Gaberiel." She yells.
"Careful, I am still your Alpha." I say calmly and she ends the call.
I walk to the room, and see everyone is there.
"Luca." I say to my bestfriend.
"Is she okay?" He asks, and I shake my head.
"What do you need?" Joseph, my Beta says, and I sit down.
"I have had the notes sent to a lab, in hopes that we could get something off it. My children have been k -- "
I am cut off by Emmaline's presence "My children, not yours, Gaberiel. I will be here for every discussion and plans to get them back."
I grit my teeth, glaring at her, she sets my blood on fire.
"Everyone, leave." I snap, and they all file out, except Luca.
"You look even more beautiful, Emmaline." He says, holding her hand.
"You look divine, Luca." She says, giggling, and I bite down my tongue.
"Fuck off, Luca." I yell, and he laughs, but it fades.
"They are beautiful. We will find them, I am on my way to start putting everything in place." He says, kisses her cheeks, and walks out.
I walk to her, seeing we are just alone, and she takes a step back, until her back is pressed against the wall.
I place my hand round her waist, and run the other into her beautiful red hair. I bury my face in her neck, loving my clothes on her, my scent on her. I run my teeth over her neck, feeling the insane urge to sink into her.
"I looked for you." I say, and she pulls away from me.
"I looked for you, I couldn't find you." I say, and she looks away.
"I hated myself so much for everything I said to you, I wanted to run away together, but you were gone."
"I moved all over, I was running from you, from everything." She says, taking a step away from me.
"You had three children, I can't imagine that pain, and I will never forgive myself for not being with you." I say, and she scoffs.
"When we find my children, I will leave and you will never see us again, neither will I tell them that you are their Father."
"What?"
GABE'S POVI feel like I've been punched in the gut. "What do you mean you won't tell them I'm their father?" I ask, trying to process her words."You lost that right when you told me to abort them," Emma says, her eyes flashing with anger.I take a step back, feeling a mix of emotions: guilt, regret, and a deep longing to make things right. "I was young and stupid, Emma. I didn't know what I wanted. But now...now I want to be a part of their lives."Emma shakes her head. "You can't just waltz in here and expect everything to go back to normal. You need to earn the right to be their father."I nod, knowing she's right. "I will. I'll do whatever it takes. But please, don't keep them from me. I want to know them, to be a part of their lives."Emma looks away, her expression softening slightly. "We'll see. First, we need to find them."I nod, determination coursing through my veins. "I'll do everything in my power to find them. I promise."We stand there for a moment, the tension between
EMMA'S POVI wake up with a start, my heart racing as I remember where I am and why. I'm in Gabe's house, and he's planning to go find our children without me. I won't let that happen.I throw off the covers sheet and rush out of the room, my bare feet pounding the floor as I search for Gabe. I find him in the living room, talking to Luca and a few other pack members.I don't hesitate, I run straight to him and tackle him to the ground. "You think you can leave me here and go find my children without me?" I shout, my eyes blazing with anger.Gabe looks up at me, surprised, but he quickly recovers. "Emma, calm down—""No, I won't calm down!" I interrupt, my voice rising. "Wherever you're going, I'm going. You're not leaving me behind."Gabe sighs and tries to sit up, but I pin him down. "Emma, this is pack business. You're can't be involved atleast Not yet."I laugh, a bitter sound. "Can't be involved? They're my children too, Gabe. I have just as much right to find them as you do."L
EMMA'S POVAs Gabe helps me treat my injured leg, old emotions start to resurface. His gentle touch ignites a spark within me, and I can feel my heart racing with a familiar flutter. He looks up at me, his eyes locking onto mine, and I see the same emotions reflected back. Hope, longing, and a deep connection that never fully went away.As he cleans and bandages my wound, his fingers brush against my skin, sending shivers down my spine. I feel like I'm melting into his touch, like I'm home.Gabe's eyes never leave mine, and I can see the tension between us building. It's like the past few years never happened, and we're back to where we started - two souls connected by an unbreakable bond.As he finishes up, he takes my hand in his, his thumb stroking my palm. I feel a jolt of electricity run through me, and I know I'm in trouble. I'm falling for him again, hard.Gabe's eyes seem to bore into my soul, searching for answers. I know he's feeling it too - the old emotions, the connection
Emma's POV I stand there, frozen in shock, as Angelo's piercing blue eyes lock onto mine. It's like time has stopped, and all that exists is the two of us, suspended in this moment. I can feel the air thickening with tension, and my heart racing like a wild animal, trying to break free from my chest.Gabe's voice breaks the silence, "Hey, Angelo, what brings you here?" He sounds casual, but I can sense a hint of curiosity and maybe even a touch of wariness.Angelo's gaze never leaves mine as he responds, "I heard Emma's back and decided to check if it's actually True." His deep voice sends shivers down my spine, and I feel a flutter in my chest. It's like my body remembers him, remembers the way he used to make me feel.Gabe raises an eyebrow, "You came all this way just to check on her?" He sounds skeptical, and I can tell he's trying to gauge Angelo's intentions.Angelo nods, his eyes still fixed on me, "Yes, I did. Is that a problem?" His voice is low and husky, and it sends a shi
EMMA'S POVI collapse onto the bed, my body wracked with sobs as tears stream down my face. I feel like I'm drowning in a sea of regret and longing. Why did Angelo have to show up? Why did I have to come meet Gabe? Why did I take my eyes off my children for one second?I bury my face in a pillow, screaming silently as the tears flow. I wish I could turn back time, go back to the moment when everything was perfect. My children were safe, my heart was whole, and I was happy. But life doesn't work that way. Time keeps moving, and all we can do is try to pick up the pieces of our shattered lives.I think about Angelo, about the way he looked at me with such concern and care. I wish he had never come here. I wish I didn't have to face the memories we shared, the love we lost.I think about Gabe, about his kindness and support. I wish I had never come to meet him, wish I had never gotten involved in his life. But most of all, I wish I had never taken my eyes off my children. I wish I had be
GABE'S POVI sat in my dimly lit study, nursing a glass of scotch as I brooded over Angelo's sudden return. That man was a Beast, a constant thorn in my side. And now, he's back to ruin everything I've worked for.My mind kept drifting to Emma, her fragile beauty and resilience captivating me. I hadn't even had a chance to fully explore my feelings for her, and now Angelo was here, rubbing his presence in my face like a taunt. The thought of him touching Emma, holding her, made my blood boil. It wasn't going to happen. I wouldn't let it.I set my glass down, my mind racing with strategies to keep Angelo away from Emma. I could increase security, limit her interactions with him...but I knew that bastard too well; he'd find a way to insinuate himself into her life.A dark thought crept in, one I couldn't shake: if it came down to it, I wouldn't hesitate to eliminate Angelo. He was a threat to my happiness, to Emma's safety...and I would do whatever it took to protect her.My eyes narrow
Emma's POVI stood alone in the room, lost in thought, when I heard the soft sound of footsteps behind me. I turned to see Gabe walking towards me, his eyes fixed on mine with an intensity that made my heart skip a beat.I was surprised to see him there, but I couldn't deny the flutter in my chest as he approached me. He stopped in front of me, his hand reaching out to caress my cheek, sending shivers down my spine."Hey," he whispered, his voice low and husky. "I didn't mean to startle you."I shook my head, trying to clear the cobwebs. "You didn't," I lied, my voice barely above a whisper.Gabe's thumb stroked my cheekbone, his eyes never leaving mine. "You look lost in thought," he said, his voice filled with concern. "Everything okay?"I nodded, feeling a sense of calm wash over me under his touch. "Yeah, everything's fine."But Gabe's hand remained on my cheek, his touch sending sparks through my body. I felt myself leaning into his touch, my lips parting slightly as I waited for
Gabe's POV I knocked softly on Emma's door, and she opened it with a bright smile. "Hey, Gabe!"Her eyes sparkled, but I could see a hint of sadness lingering behind them. She looked a little down, and I knew exactly why."Hey, beautiful," I said, stepping inside her room. "How are you doing today?"Emma shrugged, her smile faltering for a moment. "I'm okay, I guess. Just feeling a little...lost." she said I knew she was thinking about our triplets. We had been searching for them for what felt like an eternity, and so far, every lead had turned up empty.I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her close. "We'll find them, Em," I whispered. "I promise. We won't give up until we do." I assured her. Emma nodded, her eyes welling up with tears. "I know. I just feel so helpless sometimes. Like we're never going to find them." Emma said her eyes showing her deepest emotions. I held her tighter, trying to reassure her. "We will, Em. We will. And until then, we have each other." I said. As
