Emma Point of View
Oh God, Oh God, I can't breathe, my kids, where are my kids?
"Emma?"
I turn and see Dave staring at me, everyone was staring at me.
"Did you see them? Did you see my kids?" I say, in utmost manic.
"The girls and Lucien?" He says, and I nod, crying, letting the fact sink in, that my children has been kidnapped.
"I have to go." I say, and push through the crowd that has formed, how come no one saw my children, how come they were taken in broad day light and no one noticed.
"Emma!" I hear, but I don't turn back, I get in my car and drive away.
God, please, let my kids be safe.
______
"We have gotten their description, we will let you know when we have any information." The Policeman says to me, and my eyes widen.
"What? Just like that?" I snap.
"What did you expect?"
"I don't know, I got a fucking note, the kidnapper threatened to kill Rosaline and traumatize her siblings, I would expect more than this, a search party, maybe?" I yell.
"You could check the note for fucking fingerprints, you could do so much more, and you chose to sit here while my children suffer in the den of a psychopath!"
"Calm down, or I will have security escort you out." A Policewoman says, and I glare at them, having the urge to rip their heads off.
"Cowards, bunch of lazy motherfuking cowards." I say, baring my teeth.
"Careful." Another Officer says, and I glare at them, making sure they see my eyes change colour.
"If as much a hair is missing from my kids', I will burn this place down, that is a FUCKING PROMISE!" I scream, and walk out, sure of mu next destination.
____
"Emmaline." Alpha Oliver says as I walk into his home, escorted by his guards.
"Alpha." I say, seething with anger, but not at him, so I bow my head in respect.
"I sent my guards to call you, I see you were already on your way." He says, and I stare at him.
"Why did you send your guards to me, about my children?" I say, sitting down, bowing a bit at the Luna, Beta and Omega, who are also present.
"Yes, but not that. I heard about what happened at the Police Station, and I must say, Emmaline, I am very dissapointed." He says, and I tilts my head at him, but stay silent.
"Why would you cause a scene, expose yourself like that, you have always been so kind and gentle."
I stare at him, then at his Wife, resisting the urge to laugh.
"I just want my kids back." I say, respectfully.
"You will have to apologize." The Beta -- Phillip says, and I gaze at him.
"Yes, Emmaline," Luna says.
"We habe a very good relationship with the humans, and you should not ruin it, don't throw tantrums."
"Tantrums." I say, with a nod, my blood boiling.
"It's quite funny, that since I have entered this room, you have said nothing about my triplets."
"Oh come on, Emmaline, they are kids, they could just be playing, hide and seek or something." Richard, the Omega says, and they all laugh while there is a ringing in my ear.
"Emma." I say, and they look at me.
"What?" The Alpha says.
"My name is Emma, not Emmaline, and I hope you all burn in hell. Darling Luna, let's say it was Caleb and Cornelia, would you sit on your fake throne?"
"Emma," She says, her cheeks turning red.
"Just go home and rest, you need to sleep. By tommorow, a search party will be organized and the note will be sent to a proficient lab."
"Go home, Emma." The Alpha says, and I get up, say nothing, then walk out.
_____
"Emma" I hear and groan, can the whole world just fuck off, I need to think, and find my kids.
"Emma." I hear again, and turn back to see it is Flora.
"Hi, Flora." I say, staring round the streets, hoping I will see anything that will lead me to my kids.
"I heard about the triplets, I am so sorry." She says and I nod.
"I should get going." I say, heading to my house.
"We understand if you will need some days off, and we are all praying for yo -- "
"Fuck you, Flora." I snap.
"Fuck you and everyone, my children are not dead, they are missing, they are also strong people so they will come back to me."
"I am sorry if I sounded insensitive. There's this woman that I know, she is a Mage, she could track the children for you."
I stare at her like she has gone insane "A witch, seriously, Flora. Goodbye."
I walk away, but she jogs up to me.
"If you wouldn't see the Mage, you should at least talk to their Father." She says, and walks away, leaving me stunned.
I haven't spoken to Gabe since I told him I was pregnant, that was eight years ago.
_____
I choke back on tears, but it tears through me, ripping a hole in my heart.
"Oh God." I gasp, as I try to steady my breathing, knowing that my kids won't want me crying.
I stay silent as I sit in the dark, reminiscing about the beautiful days I had with my kids, and more beautiful days ahead, my thought also drifts to Gabe and to what Flora said, I would bend backwards to get my kids back.
I picture them in my mind when I am thrown backwards violently. A masked man is pinning my body to the ground, his claw digging into my neck.
Someone is trying to kill me, probably the same person who took my children, absolutely not.
I wrap my hand around the one on my throat, and dig my fingers in, tearing flesh off. He yells in pain as I push him backwards, and he hits the grouns with a loud thud.
"Fucking Bitch." He says getting up, then pulls off his mask, and spits on my floor. I stare at him, not recognizing him.
"Where are my kids?" I yell, jumping on him, tackling him to the ground, baring my teeth to bite him when he shoves me backward, so hard that I feel something break.
He drags me by the hair to the living room, and punches me repeatedly in the stomach, I feel a lot of things break, the blood falling from my lips is an evidence of that.
I kick his stomach, but he doesn't flinch, who the fuck is this? I feel myself begin to give up when he punches me in the chest. With all the power in me, I push him backwards, rip out my table's leg, and throw it directly into his chest.
I walk to him, as he groans, and bite out his neck.
"Who the fuck are you?" I yell, and he laughs.
"This is not your fight, you're just a ploy." He smiles, and before I can blink, he pulls out a lighter and sets himself on fire, what the fuck.
______
I sit on the plane, with my heart in my throat. I am wearing a Hodie to hide most of my wonds.
I still can not believe that man blew up my sitting room, him with it. I grabbed what I could, washed my selves and book a last minute flight to Chicago.
Deep down, I know that my kids are not in New York, and with what that man said, it could be Gabe's.
"Ma'am, this is for you." An air stewardess hands me a glass of wine and a note, I did order the wine, but what is the note all about.
I watch her walk away then open the note ---- Never seen a woman who could end Slavio, but I should have known Emma Kendrick would. Camilla is my favorite, Lucien and Rosaline, the strongest, well, for now. I paved the road you're walking on, darling. See you soon, Tick, Tock.
I stare round the plane in fear, wondering who he is, and what the actually fuck is going on. I spend the next eleven hours in fear, and hope that my children will be fine.
_______
I tug my hoodie down, to cover the scarrin on my wrist, as I walk towards his mansion. Gabriel Salvatore is the Alpha of The Chicago Pack, that is quite a position.
He lives in a Mansion, one where his Godfather, the late Alpha -- Cavill Dominico lived. I grit my teeth, as I see the guards standing by the huge gates.
Damn him, he is living in affluence while his children are suffering.
"I am here to see Gabe." I say, and the six of them stare at me, I just called their Alpha by his name.
"Tell him Emma is here." I add, but they don't budge.
"You can not keep me out, I will get in, one way or the other, so you might spare your self the stress and reprimand by letting me in."
"Alpha is not around." The brown haired one says, walking closer to me.
"You should know how to lie better." I say, feeling the hot boil of anger.
"Look, I have no time for this, so why not ju -- "
I am cut off by the gate opening, and a familiar face walking out -- April, Gabe's younger sister.
"Emma?" She says, in shock, and I just stare at her, while she gazes at me, I know how horrible I look, in dirty joggers and hoodie, sweating all over the place.
"Oh my God, Emma, how long has it been!" She squeals, taking my hands and tugging me inside. I dutifully give the guards my fingers.
"This is amazing, Gaberiel is inside, so are Carlino and Augustine." She smiles, and I nod, staring at the mansion, all the gold and shit.
"I just need to talk to Gabe." I say, and she stares at me oddly, gazes at my clothing, then stare at me with pity.
"I can walk, I know this place." I say, pulling away from her, I remember her clearly, telling Gabe to leave me.
"Well." She laughs, then gaze at my belly, does she think I have been pregnant for seven years, how demented can she be.
"Gabriel!" She sing-songs, as the door is opened.
"April, not now." I hear and freeze. I haven't heard his voice in eight years, his last words to me was I should abort the pregnancy.
"There is an unexpected guest for youu." She grins, obviously enjoying this.
"Sister." I hear Augustine, then see him, he looks older.
"Emma?" Carly says when I come into sight, she liked me.
"Hi, Carlino. Augustine, you look well." I smile at them, feeling self concious in my outfit.
"Emmaline, oh my God." Augustine gasps, walking to me, I try not to glance at Gabe.
"You look so grown." Carly says, and I smile.
"Hello." A foreign voice says, walking closer to me.
"What brings you here, Emmaline, I am Esemerada, Gabe's Fiancee." She says, and I say nothing, connecting the dots, she is his arranged mate, how splendid.
Gabe Point of ViewI am frozen in shock as I stare at her face. I have not seen her in eight years, and despite looking for her, I never found her."Is there anywhere I can charge my phone, it's almost dead and I have calls to make." She says, and Caly nods, taking her phone, from her and freezing."You were pregnant." She says, and Emmaline nods. My heart is in my throat."What is i -- Oh My God." April gasps, then passes the phone to August, who face mirrors theirs.Emma just stares at me the entire time, and I can see it clearly on her face, she knows that the curiousity must be killing me."Here you go." August says, giving me the phone. On her screen, they are three children, two girls and a boy -- the boy looks so much like I do, it is like staring at the past, and the girls, fuck.My knees buckle with the information, and I grip the couch before I fall to the ground, making the phone fall from my hand.Esme picks it up, and I see disdain all her face."If it has child support y
GABE'S POVI feel like I've been punched in the gut. "What do you mean you won't tell them I'm their father?" I ask, trying to process her words."You lost that right when you told me to abort them," Emma says, her eyes flashing with anger.I take a step back, feeling a mix of emotions: guilt, regret, and a deep longing to make things right. "I was young and stupid, Emma. I didn't know what I wanted. But now...now I want to be a part of their lives."Emma shakes her head. "You can't just waltz in here and expect everything to go back to normal. You need to earn the right to be their father."I nod, knowing she's right. "I will. I'll do whatever it takes. But please, don't keep them from me. I want to know them, to be a part of their lives."Emma looks away, her expression softening slightly. "We'll see. First, we need to find them."I nod, determination coursing through my veins. "I'll do everything in my power to find them. I promise."We stand there for a moment, the tension between
EMMA'S POVI wake up with a start, my heart racing as I remember where I am and why. I'm in Gabe's house, and he's planning to go find our children without me. I won't let that happen.I throw off the covers sheet and rush out of the room, my bare feet pounding the floor as I search for Gabe. I find him in the living room, talking to Luca and a few other pack members.I don't hesitate, I run straight to him and tackle him to the ground. "You think you can leave me here and go find my children without me?" I shout, my eyes blazing with anger.Gabe looks up at me, surprised, but he quickly recovers. "Emma, calm down—""No, I won't calm down!" I interrupt, my voice rising. "Wherever you're going, I'm going. You're not leaving me behind."Gabe sighs and tries to sit up, but I pin him down. "Emma, this is pack business. You're can't be involved atleast Not yet."I laugh, a bitter sound. "Can't be involved? They're my children too, Gabe. I have just as much right to find them as you do."L
EMMA'S POVAs Gabe helps me treat my injured leg, old emotions start to resurface. His gentle touch ignites a spark within me, and I can feel my heart racing with a familiar flutter. He looks up at me, his eyes locking onto mine, and I see the same emotions reflected back. Hope, longing, and a deep connection that never fully went away.As he cleans and bandages my wound, his fingers brush against my skin, sending shivers down my spine. I feel like I'm melting into his touch, like I'm home.Gabe's eyes never leave mine, and I can see the tension between us building. It's like the past few years never happened, and we're back to where we started - two souls connected by an unbreakable bond.As he finishes up, he takes my hand in his, his thumb stroking my palm. I feel a jolt of electricity run through me, and I know I'm in trouble. I'm falling for him again, hard.Gabe's eyes seem to bore into my soul, searching for answers. I know he's feeling it too - the old emotions, the connection
Emma's POV I stand there, frozen in shock, as Angelo's piercing blue eyes lock onto mine. It's like time has stopped, and all that exists is the two of us, suspended in this moment. I can feel the air thickening with tension, and my heart racing like a wild animal, trying to break free from my chest.Gabe's voice breaks the silence, "Hey, Angelo, what brings you here?" He sounds casual, but I can sense a hint of curiosity and maybe even a touch of wariness.Angelo's gaze never leaves mine as he responds, "I heard Emma's back and decided to check if it's actually True." His deep voice sends shivers down my spine, and I feel a flutter in my chest. It's like my body remembers him, remembers the way he used to make me feel.Gabe raises an eyebrow, "You came all this way just to check on her?" He sounds skeptical, and I can tell he's trying to gauge Angelo's intentions.Angelo nods, his eyes still fixed on me, "Yes, I did. Is that a problem?" His voice is low and husky, and it sends a shi
EMMA'S POVI collapse onto the bed, my body wracked with sobs as tears stream down my face. I feel like I'm drowning in a sea of regret and longing. Why did Angelo have to show up? Why did I have to come meet Gabe? Why did I take my eyes off my children for one second?I bury my face in a pillow, screaming silently as the tears flow. I wish I could turn back time, go back to the moment when everything was perfect. My children were safe, my heart was whole, and I was happy. But life doesn't work that way. Time keeps moving, and all we can do is try to pick up the pieces of our shattered lives.I think about Angelo, about the way he looked at me with such concern and care. I wish he had never come here. I wish I didn't have to face the memories we shared, the love we lost.I think about Gabe, about his kindness and support. I wish I had never come to meet him, wish I had never gotten involved in his life. But most of all, I wish I had never taken my eyes off my children. I wish I had be
GABE'S POVI sat in my dimly lit study, nursing a glass of scotch as I brooded over Angelo's sudden return. That man was a Beast, a constant thorn in my side. And now, he's back to ruin everything I've worked for.My mind kept drifting to Emma, her fragile beauty and resilience captivating me. I hadn't even had a chance to fully explore my feelings for her, and now Angelo was here, rubbing his presence in my face like a taunt. The thought of him touching Emma, holding her, made my blood boil. It wasn't going to happen. I wouldn't let it.I set my glass down, my mind racing with strategies to keep Angelo away from Emma. I could increase security, limit her interactions with him...but I knew that bastard too well; he'd find a way to insinuate himself into her life.A dark thought crept in, one I couldn't shake: if it came down to it, I wouldn't hesitate to eliminate Angelo. He was a threat to my happiness, to Emma's safety...and I would do whatever it took to protect her.My eyes narrow
Emma's POVI stood alone in the room, lost in thought, when I heard the soft sound of footsteps behind me. I turned to see Gabe walking towards me, his eyes fixed on mine with an intensity that made my heart skip a beat.I was surprised to see him there, but I couldn't deny the flutter in my chest as he approached me. He stopped in front of me, his hand reaching out to caress my cheek, sending shivers down my spine."Hey," he whispered, his voice low and husky. "I didn't mean to startle you."I shook my head, trying to clear the cobwebs. "You didn't," I lied, my voice barely above a whisper.Gabe's thumb stroked my cheekbone, his eyes never leaving mine. "You look lost in thought," he said, his voice filled with concern. "Everything okay?"I nodded, feeling a sense of calm wash over me under his touch. "Yeah, everything's fine."But Gabe's hand remained on my cheek, his touch sending sparks through my body. I felt myself leaning into his touch, my lips parting slightly as I waited for
Emma's POVI slipped out of the car, my heels clicking on the pavement. Time to pick up my babies. I smiled, anticipating their chatter. As I approached, the triplets noticed me and waved enthusiastically. Rosaline rushed to the front passenger seat, buckling up beside me. Camilla and Lucien settled into the backseat."Hey, kids! How was school?" I asked, starting the engine.Rosaline launched into a detailed account of her day, from math lessons to lunchtime gossip. "And then, Mommy, Tommy asked me for answers during the exam!"I raised an eyebrow, concerned. "Did you handle it okay?"Rosaline nodded vigorously. "Yes, Mommy. I told him I couldn't help him."I beamed with pride. "That's my smart girl!"Camilla chimed in from the backseat. "My exam was simple, Mom. No worries."Lucien shrugged. "Mine was fine, too."I glanced in the rearview mirror, meeting their eyes. "Last exam before summer break, huh?"The triplets cheered in unison."We're done, Mom!" Camilla exclaimed."Till next
Emma's POVI woke up to the warmth of Gabe's body beside me, his gentle breathing a soothing serenade. Last night was magical, a world of our own creation. As I slipped out of bed, Gabe stirred, his eyes fluttering open."Morning," he whispered, his voice husky."Good morning," I replied, smiling.I dressed quickly, my mind already on breakfast. The kitchen was my sanctuary, where love and nourishment blended. As I cooked, the aroma of freshly baked pastries and brewing coffee filled the air. The pack would gather soon, eager to help Carly with her mating ceremony preparations. But I wouldn't join them. Baking was my solace, my way of showing love. The triplets were at school, their exams looming. My babies. My heart swelled with pride. No matter what, I'd always love them.Gabe entered the kitchen, his presence wrapping around me like a warm hug."You're amazing," he said, stealing a kiss.I blushed, my heart skipping a beat."Just making breakfast," I replied, waving a flour-dusted
Gabe's POVI left my office, eager to return home. The evening air was crisp, carrying the scent of blooming flowers. As I entered my house, the silence enveloped me. Everyone was likely indoors, retired to their rooms.I glanced around, confirming my suspicion. Camilla and April were probably out for ice cream, giggling over flavors. Rosaline had tagged along with Augustine to the supermarket, eager to help with shopping. And Lucien... He was likely with Krisdana, lost in their own little world. That left me alone in the house, with Emma.A thrill ran through me as I climbed the stairs, my footsteps quiet on the carpet.I reached Emma's room, my heart beating faster. I pushed open the door, finding her sitting on the bed, lost in thought."Hey," I said softly, not wanting to startle her.Emma looked up, her eyes locking onto mine. A hint of a smile played on her lips."Hey," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.I stepped inside, closing the door behind me. The world outside
Gabe's POVI stood in my office, gazing out the window at the bustling pack grounds. As Alpha, I couldn't always be with my family. Duty called, and I had to answer. My mind wandered to Camilla and the kids. I missed their laughter, their smiles. But I knew I had to put the pack first. My assistant, Ryder, knocked on the door. "Alpha, we have a meeting with the border patrol in an hour."I nodded, focusing on the task at hand. "Let's review the reports."The meeting was productive, but my thoughts kept drifting to Luca. I needed to talk to him, apologize for my past mistakes.Luca's mating ceremony with Carly was approaching, and I wanted to clear the air. My pride had kept me silent for too long.As I worked, the hours ticked by. Finally, I heard the door open, and Luca walked in."Gabe," he said, his expression neutral."Luca," I replied, standing up. "Thanks for coming."Luca took a seat, his eyes locked on mine. "What's this about?"I took a deep breath. "I want to apologize. For
Camilla's POVFinally, everything was perfect. Our family was whole again. Lucien and Krisdana's relationship had brought a new sense of joy to our lives. I'd never seen Lucien so happy, so carefree.Their love story was one of redemption and forgiveness. Lucien had forgiven Krisdana for her past mistakes, and she'd proven herself worthy of his trust. I admired their strength, their commitment to each other. But what brought me the most relief was April's recovery. No more addiction, no more terrible nightmares, no more fear in her eyes. She was herself again – vibrant, kind, and full of life.I remembered the dark days, the sleepless nights spent worrying about April's well-being. The helplessness had been suffocating. But now, with April's smile radiant once more, our home felt truly happy.Last night's sleepover with Lucien and Rosaline had been the cherry on top. We'd giggled, shared secrets, and reaffirmed our bond. Our family's love had conquered all.As I walked downstairs, the
Lucien's POVI settled into my bed, phone pressed to my ear, and Krisdana's sweet voice filled my senses. "Hey, baby," she said, her tone husky."Hey," I replied, grin spreading across my face."How's your day?" Krisdana asked."Better now," I said, closing my eyes. "Just needed to hear your voice.""Aww, Lucien," Krisdana cooed. "You're making me blush."I chuckled. "That's the plan."We talked about our days, sharing stories and laughter. Krisdana's voice was music to my ears.As we chatted, my mind drifted back to the recent drama with Tyler. Guilt pricked at my conscience."Krisdana?" I said, my tone serious."Yes?""I'm sorry," I began, "for almost suspecting you with Tyler. I was blind, stupid."Krisdana's soft laughter calmed my nerves. "Lucien, it's okay. I know you were worried.""No, it's not okay," I insisted. "I should've trusted you. You'd never betray me.""Lucien, stop," Krisdana said firmly. "You were hurt, scared. I get it.""I promise, Krisdana, I'll never doubt you
Rosaline's POVAs I gazed around the room, warmth filled my heart. Everyone was smiling, genuinely happy. Lucien, my usually brooding brother, looked relaxed, laughing with April. Her return had brought joy to our family, especially to Camilla. That little ball of energy was beaming, her eyes sparkling whenever April was near. Their bond was special, and I was grateful April was home, better and stronger.Carly's happiness was contagious, and even Augustine couldn't hide his smile. His reserved nature made his rare displays of emotion all the more precious. Mum's radiant smile told me Dad was happy too.It was a chain reaction of love and happiness, each person's joy amplifying the others. Our family had faced struggles, but we'd emerged stronger.I watched Mum, her eyes shining with tears as she listened to April's stories. Her love for our family was unwavering.Dad, our Alpha, sat amidst our gathering, his presence a steady anchor. His love for our family was palpable. As I soaked
Augustine's POVI watched my family laugh and share stories, feeling a deep sense of satisfaction. Finally, everyone was coming together, bonding over love and shared experiences."Family bonding," I murmured to myself, a small smile creeping onto my face.Carly's happiness was contagious. I'd never shown it, but her joy filled me with pride. As her brother, I'd always prioritized strength and control, hiding my emotions behind a stoic mask. But today, surrounded by loved ones, I allowed myself a moment of vulnerability. My eyes lingered on Carly, her smile radiant as she talked about Luca.Gabe caught my gaze, nodding in understanding. He knew me too well.I cleared my throat, addressing the room. "It's good to see everyone together. We've been through a lot, but our bond remains unbreakable."Emma's eyes met mine, warmth and gratitude shining within them.Rosaline, Lucien, and Camilla chattered excitedly, their energy infectious. April's newfound happiness was a balm to our family's
April's POVI zipped my suitcase, excitement coursing through my veins. Finally, I was leaving the rehab center. My two-month program was done, and I felt reborn. The memories of my time here were bittersweet. I had struggled, cried, and fought my demons. But with every passing day, I found strength, hope, and inner peace.I thought of Camilla, my little niece, and my heart swelled. If not for her, I might still be trapped in the darkness of addiction. Her innocent smile and loving gaze had awakened something within me.I envisioned the warm welcome awaiting me at home. Rosaline's nurturing embrace, Lucien's reassuring smile, Gabe's protective hug, Emma's gentle kindness, Carly's infectious laughter, and Augustine's wise guidance. My journey to sobriety wasn't easy, but it was worth it. I had discovered a new purpose: to live for myself and those I loved. As I wheeled my suitcase out of the room, a sense of freedom filled me. I was ready to start anew, to cherish every moment with my
