Gabe's POV

I stood in my office, gazing out the window at the bustling pack grounds. As Alpha, I couldn't always be with my family. Duty called, and I had to answer.

My mind wandered to Camilla and the kids. I missed their laughter, their smiles. But I knew I had to put the pack first.

My assistant, Ryder, knocked on the door. "Alpha, we have a meeting with the border patrol in an hour."

I nodded, focusing on the task at hand. "Let's review the reports."
