Lessia's POV

Waking up in Kian's arms was as blissful as it was comforting. It was neon dark outside and I could tell it was the early hours of the morning already.

By the bed, the lamp on the cabinet shone dimly, lightly illuminating the room. The light caressed his face softly, perfectly highlighting his facial features. I couldn't bring myself to get over this extraordinary beauty. He looked radiantly handsome. As I stared at him with my head on his chest, I ran my fingers over the side of his face to his sharp chin. Sometimes, I just couldn't believe that I could ever find someone like him, or that he would find me rather. I still couldn't believe that I would be with someone better than Maddox in every way. I was beyond glad.
