"What do you mean, then?" Tiffany looked me in the eye. She was doing this on purpose.

I was anxious but too shy to be blunt with her. So, I said, "You know what the source of my torment is and what I want you to do. Besides, I wasn't the one who suggested this—you brought it up. How could you lie to me?"

She asked in return, "How have I lied to you? Did I explicitly say I would jerk you off?"

She was so open about it that I felt embarrassed. Still, I had to admit she was right. She hadn't said anything about that. I was the one who'd assumed it was what she meant.

I was rendered speechless and unable to retort. I also felt frustrated. I knew Tiffany was right but still felt like I'd been tricked.

"Look into my eyes, Tom," she suddenly said.

I raised my head, feeling defeated. She looked me in the eye and said, "What do you think of when you look at me?"
