Chapter Twenty: You Are the Chosen One

Marissa's POV

“Because I find my reason as confidential, and I find you not very caring and sensitive in everyone’s reason, sir,” I explained. “Am I not right on that factor?"

He tilted his head and squinted his eyes. “You are only reckoning that I am a heartless person, Miss Dela Cruz," he said.
