'Kairo stepped out of his car and was walking up inside the mansion, when a loud gun shot was heard and he grunted with shock and pain. His crisp and neat suit is now drenched with blood. He fell down on the floor.'

That's when Rose woke up from her dream gasping for breath. She had a nightmare where Kairo was shot. She is breathing heavily and looked at her side to see Kairo sleeping beside her. She is sweating and the fragments of her dream refused to leave her.

'That was a dream. A very bad dream. Is it just a dream or something else? ' she thought worriedly.

Kairo woke up when he felt the bed dip when Rose leaned down to pick up the water glass and took a two mouthfuls.

"Rose? What happened? Why do you look so pale?" he inquired.

Even under the dimly lit bedroom light, he can see how pale she looks. As if she has seen a ghost.
