Pretend

After their close call in Alesso's room, both Rose and Alesso sighed with relief that they were not caught.

"Thank God Livi didn't suspect anything. If your scary husband finds out that you already know about their plan, he is going to think of a scary punishment for me for sure" Alesso shuddered just the thought of Kairo's punishments.

Rose hid her smile at his reaction. But she likes Alesso whose original intention was to look out for her. So she decided to help him.

"Brother, don't worry. Let's pretend that we don't know anything about the surprise. I will pretend to be stunned when the time comes. That way, our secret will be safe" she suggested.

Alesso looked at her with cute puppy dog eyes.

"Sister, you are the best and very sweet. I don't want to get punished by your husband" he said while blinking his eyes pretending to be pitiful.

Rose giggled at his antiques.

"It's a pinky promise from my side. I will not tell anyone about this" she promised.
