Chapter 75: Mom

We were piling up in the car, a few bags in the trunk and I waved at the girls saying goodbye again as the car drove away and I leaned back in my seat letting out a small sigh, seeing my mother was honestly the last thing I wanted to do.

I don’t think I have the mental capacity to deal with her, but I knew I’d have to do so anyway and there was no backing out of the situation as is.

“You okay” Jace whispered in my ear and I looked over at him letting out a small sigh and nodding, there was no point in complaining about a situation you were already stuck dealing with.

His hand grabs mine and I lean my head over resting it on his shoulder before I close my eyes taking in the trip quickly once I fall asleep.

“Come on, up we get” Julian said, his hands on both of my knees and I looked at him confused at his choice of words causing him to chuckle.
