The first task for the children is a simple get to know you drill. Each person has to find somebody that they do not know, or at least not well, and get to know them better. Once they learn something fun about each other that others do not know, they are going to find a way to create some type of craft for the other person to keep. Something that will appeal to the facts that they learned about each other.I think that it is a little cheesy to be doing this type of activity but so far, most of the kids do not seem to mind. When it is time for the kids to all exchange crafts I am happy to find that Chelsea's partner made a paper fish. Dante managed to steer the converation towaqrds when she went fishing over the weekend instead of any harmful topics. Chelsea made the giraffe that apparently the child's family sponsors at the zoo. Both of their faces light up when the see the other person's crafts. Hopefully, this means that they are beginning to make new friends already.Most of the other children seem to be having very similar experiences. Once all of the kids are once again assembled and calmed down, I am happy to see that Chelsea is talking to the boy that I just spoke to. She seems to be trying to figure out exactly what happened and help him. Soon, she should be able to tell them all what is going on with her. Now that Aurora has learned about Chelsea, we have informed the other witches in our Coven on the update. When Chelsea and I get back to the pack house for the night, I find that Dante is once again in his office going over our plans with meeting the other Alphas. Chelsea is still playing in the bathtub when I go to find her. I can tell that she is beginning to grow tired when I walk in to find her. Her eyes look much darker than they normally do when she first wakes up. She looks nowhere near her normal bright eyed self. "Are you ready for bed Chelsea?" I ask her after knocking on the door. It did not take long at all for the Hybrid Council to arrive. They all file in looking a little shocked to see Simonetta there, unable to use her magic as she floats slightly in the air. Simonetta rushes towards me using wind to guide her speed. It is not enough to throw me off guard though and I shove a wall of dirt up in front of me. She almost crashes into it before she is able to skid to a stop at the last second. Each team splits up and gets ready to make their way through the obstacle course. They are all going to have to take turns trying to make it through safely. Each team has a designated amount of time before they get elminated. The one that makes it through the fastest and with the least amount of mistakes, will be the ones to win the competition. The course is very similar to the one that we did with the entire pack when we first started training. The one that really got the women moving faster as they fought to make good time through the course to beat the men. This one is just a little more geared towards children and not fully grown adults.Some of the obstacles are smaller to better accomodate their size, some things are closer together and they have even added some new obstacles that would have been difficult for the adults. I have never packed a diaper bag before but luckily Scarlett shows up to help me get them ready and squeal over the twins for a minute. The first night with the babies was quite a bit of a learning curve. Whenever we put them in their bassinets they just started to cry nonstop until we picked them up again. It took a couple of hours to find out that if we put them into the same bassinet they were able to sleep peacefully and not wake us up. By the time we managed learning that, I was beyond exhausted and ready to sleep. Chelsea comes running in once the babies start to cry for food. Her face is filled with excitement as she rushes over to me. Even though they are hungry, I allow her to hold and rock Caterine while I first feed Archer. I might get good enough to be able to feed them both at once in the future but for now feeding just one is tricky.
