That night, we sent all of the kids to bed a little early while all of the adults had a bit of a sad farewell party in their underground bunker. Even though I expected them to be more excited about getting out of here early, I do understand why they are sad. This is a place that has kept them safe for the last couple of years. It is the place that kept their pack alive when they were unable to do it in their normal home.

Frank has decided to stay with the orphans for the night instead of having the party with the others. As the night wore on he became more and more withdrawn. The more quiet he got the more worried I got about him. He was finally starting to open up to me but tonight he just got farther and farther away.

"Do you think that I should go and check on him?" I ask Elle.

"It is hard to say. I do not know him anymore. This is not the same guy that left to save you. This is somebody completely new. I still have not been able to have a conversation with him." She says sadly.
