It is hard to focus as we finish our walk back to the pack house. Nobody bothers talking or trying to be polite for the rest of the walk. It is completely silent. Completely tense as well. It only takes us a few more moments to get back to the pack house without any interactions between the six of us.

Once we get to the pack house, we all clutter inside the entry way. I shift uncertainly as almost everyone's attention is on both my father and myself. The tension in the air could be cut with a knife. Nobody speaks as well all take turns looking between ourselves, questioning what to do next.

"You invited us to stay. So, now what?" I ask Rand defensively.

"Now, we need to rest for a while before we try to get to the bottom of what really happened all of those years ago. We all know that something did. Until we learn the full story from both of you nobody will be able to look for forgiveness. After what you did for the pack with the witches, we owe you some closure for sure." Rand says t
