The Hybrid Council all met bright and early in the joint gym building. They all shared confused looks as they walked into the room. The room is absolutely silent at my confession. The only person that knew about this was Dante. Well, him and Elle of course. She is the one that kept it a secret though. Now, everybody knows. As Elle begins to bring up her memories, I mentally prepare myself for what I am about to watch. I have known that both parents are dead for years only to find out recently that my father is still alive. Now, I have to watch the night that everything happened as if I am living it. Once all of the witches are finally far enough away, Elle rushes over to my father. Taking his head in her arms, a few tears begin forming. He is still struggling to breath but once her illusion lifts it is easy to see that he is doing much better than before. He no longer looks as if he is on his last limb. As soon as my father begins stirring, she rushes over to him again. At this point she has to be close to exhausted. She has had a major emotional roller coaster as well with everything that has happened but she does not seem to be letting that get to her. For the next couple of days I am over the moon ecstatic about the news from the Witch Council. It is going to take me a long time to get over the feeling of not watching my back. The Council did not stay long after our confrontation about Elle's memories. As soon as Simonetta realized that we have done everything we could to live by the Goddess's will, she packed her stuff and cleared out. Safiya was definitely a little more hesitant to leave. She might not have been in love with her werewolf fling but they still had an emotional reunion before they departed. She cried slightly and he seemed a little put out that she was leaving. Still, they did exchange numbers before she left.
