I manage to shut down the mind link just enough that Dante cannot tell which direction I am coming from. Before he knows it, I land on his shoulder still in my cardinal form. He jumps slightly but looks over at me and smiles. Of course he would know that it is me. Besides, how often do birds just land on someone's shoulder randomly?

"I was starting to think that I was going to have to find a way to sprout a pair of wings and fly up there to get you. Everything okay?" He asks me.

Hopping off of him, I shift back into myself in middair and hastily pull on the clothing that he brought out for me. He must have brought it out when he figured out that I was not flying through the air in my human form. Although, I am sure that there is a way that I can get that to happen as well.

"Yes, everything is okay. I just needed a minute for myself." I admit.

"I gathered as much. I am just glad that you are here now and feeling much more at peace than you have recently." He says as he pulls me closer
