This movie is completely different from the first. For one, some of my favorite characters are not in it at all. Instead, I have to meet an almost entirely different cast. It takes a while to get used to not seeing the more familiar faces. If they were real then they definitely would have been werewolves with how close they were as a family."How do you like it so far?" Dante asks in my ear as I lay with my head on his lap on the couch. Everybody that was still at the pack house has come in to join us with the movies. It is not long before we decide to go ahead and move onto the next movie as well. Once again, I do not any of the characters. It almost reminds me of seeing the Marvel movies and getting each character's origin story as it's own movie. This time though, I do not make it through the entire movie before the peace that I am feeling has me falling asleep on the couch. I am more relaxed than I have been since the Council has shown up making this an amazingly deep sleep. I do
When I get back to the Witch house I immediately notice how quiet everything is. There are no witches gathered in the main room and nobody in the kitchen either. Where are they all at? There is nowhere close by for them to go. Where could they all be at? Walking up the stairs to head towards the family quarters, I am shocked to see that everybody is in the library. There are hardly any books in here so I am not sure what they are all doing here. That is until I see that every shelf is full of books. There are books about everything that has to do with being a witch. Some are full of spells, other potions, some are even how to books. Heck, some are fantasy books that star witches as main characters. Where did they all come from?"Laina! Come here!" I hear Hazel yell from the opposite corner of the room. Walking over, I see her staring at several older books that look like they contain some official manuscripts. There are no titles on the books so without opening them up I have no way
As I approach the Council they all look up at me with mild surprise. Simonetta does not bother to hide her look of disdain when I approach. I am slightly aware of the faint odor that I am emitting after my run this morning. I guess that I could have used a shower before coming out here to work with the witches. I can only hope that since they do not have the heightened sense of smell that werewolves do that they do not notice my scent. Judging by the upturned noses though, they most definitely can smell me."I just wanted to come over to thank all of you for the books. We have been busy ever since we got here with building the new house and getting to know each other so I have not gotten around to finding books. I was even honestly at a loss as to where to find the books at so you have saved me much trouble. Thank you all." I tell them."We did not have the books brought here. It was all her." Simonetta says and points towards Safiya.Safiya just shrugs slightly like it was no big de
Now that the lake is finished I have to find something else for the witches to do to stay busy. They need to have a full schedule and plenty of training. I have never fully been trained so I have no idea what type of schedule would work out best for each of them."Laina, I finally got the school area finished. Would you like to check it out?" Elle asks as she walks up to me.I nod at her and follow her to where the temporary schooling is going to be located. It is not much just a few class rooms but for now it will do. Each class has its own purpose that is related to training. There is nothing that I can think of that the Council would disapprove of. Still, we need to start working on our permanent one as well."This is good Elle. Thank you for taking care of this recently. I have been drug through the mud lately with the Council here so thank you for finishing this for me." I tell her earnestly."No problem. I actually enjoyed it. It felt good to do something for some students again
Having the lake finished has given the Coven more motivation to go outdoors for the day. Most witches are already outside quite a bit but now they all seem to be hovering around outside. Some are working the gardens while others are playing in the lake. I cannot help but join them when I see just how much fun they are all having out there."I have an idea. I hope that you all will try it with me." I tell them as I walk into the lake in a swim suit this time and actually allow the water to touch me."What is that?" Jade asks me."I want to have another competition. This one is just for bragging rights. I will even be a part of it." I tell them."Ohhh...what is it?" Hazel asks sounding intrigued."I say that all of us elementals see how detailed of a fish we can make float above the water. It needs to have scales, each part of its body and be able to move the way that only a fish can move. Maybe not even just a fish but some type of sea creature would work as well. As long as you do not
Walking over towards the Council after my experiments with the novices I can see them talking amongst themselves. They are all whispering and giving me very pointed looks. It is not like I cannot tell that they are talking about me once again. It is extremely obvious. I planned to go past them without stopping but when Simonetta steps right in front of me I have no choice but to stop. She stares down at me for a while before sniffing and moving slightly off to the side. That is when Katrin walks up in front of me instead. "Would you mind walking with me for a moment?" She asks me. "Do I really have a choice?" I say sarcastically as I turn to follow her. She does not answer but leads me away towards the pack border. Before we get there she stops and turns to me. "Do you understand just how special you are? Even if Simonetta refuses to see it the rest of us can. Do you get it?" She asks me. "I am sorry, what?" I ask sounding confused. That almost seemed like a compliment. "You c
Returning to the witches hanging out at the lake, I look around with a small smile as they all look overly happy to be here and be hanging out together. They have all worked for about 3 days to be able to get to the point where we can release fish into the lake. The wait for the fish is finally over and we are ready to make sure that all of the fish settle into the lake as well as possible. Once they arrived I was still a little frazzled but now as I watch all of the fish settling in I can see that this might all just work out rather well. The fish seem to all be finding their niches fairly quickly. Rojo is definitely enjoying having some company although I am still not sure how he feels about the other arapaima at this point. They both seem to avoid each other quite a bit. I watch Safiya while all of the witches laze around the lake. While all of the other witches are full of excitement at the idea of having the lake done, Safiya seems to be majorly distracted. She keeps eyeing the
After dinner all of the witches head to their prospective rooms so I make my way to mine. Making sure that all of the Council members see me walking up to the family quarters, I wave sleepily to each of the witches that are still downstairs. Elle follows me knowing that being a werewolf I stay up much later than most witches so something has to be up with me.I placed a spell on the perimeter of the house earlier that will let me know if any of the Council members leave the house at night. It will send me a weird sensation that nobody else will notice but I will. That way whenever Safiya sneaks out I will know instantly and be able to follow her. "What are you going to bed so early for? Are we finally going to figure out what is going on with the Council?" Elle asks after we make it into our quarters. "What, me, planning something? No way." I feign with her. When she raises her brows at me I continue, "Yes I am going to follow her tonight. I just need for her to think that we are al
