Writer's POV

Selena took a shower and sat on the sofa, wiping her wet hair while looking at the dress hanging on the hanger.

Thinking of what happened in the woods earlier today, she walked to the window only to Rufus and Edward talking outside, she couldn't hear what they said, but she saw a subtle change in Rufus's expression.

His eyes were dim and contradictory, as if covered with a layer of sadness.

Selena was lost in thought, and stopped wiping her hair, and didn't even notice the knock on the door.

When Rufus opened the door, he saw Selena sitting on the sofa in a daze with wet hair, as if she had lost her wolf.

"Ahem." He coughed twice.

Selena came back to her senses, looked up and saw him, she forced a smile out.

Rufus walked in and. "What are you thinking about so intently that you didn't even hear the knock on the door."

Selena shook her head and hid the thoughts in her eyes. "Nothing, my mind suddenly went blank."
