The healers and Basil were not at all confident that Drake would be able to find the antidote. This kind of poison is rare and its antidote is scarce.

They were pleasantly surprised to find him bringing the antidote to save the King. Basil saw his dedication to save the king and the responsibility he took over on his shoulders, to catch the killer as well.
