Chapter five: Finalizing the contract

        Jenna's Pov

      I really don't see a reason why I shouldn't marry him. I know I should be wary but I have a feeling that I can trust him. The most important thing is my protection. He said he didn't like the room I was staying in, that it was  cramped. There was nothing wrong with the room but I guess he didn't like it.  The room was much more bigger than the one i stayed in Nigel's house.

       "Don't worry, you'll like this one", He said as we entered a room. I was in awe. The room was spacious and beautiful. It looked like an apartment. "It's beautiful", I said as I fed my eyes.

       The room had a plush bed with designer linens and a rich brown stylish chaise lounge. The room had a spacious walk-in closet. I couldn't help but marvel at the sight of it.

        "Do you like it?", Kai asked. I'm pretty sure he had his answer because of my facial expressions. "Am I allowed to join the tour?", a voice said behind us. I was startled but Kai wasn't.  It was Mei. "Hi, she said and hugged me. "You didn't say you were coming today", I said surprisedly. "Yeah, you didn't", Kai said, apparently he was displeased. "Oh brother, aren't you happy to see me?", Mei asked and pouted. "Ew", Kai shuddered. "I have to go now", Kai said and left.

       "I have a surprise for you", Mei said happily. I wondered what the surprise was. "What is it?", I asked as the curiosity was starting to get to me. "I invited someone I know you'd want to meet" She said "Who?", I asked as we went downstairs. We headed to the lounge. I saw a woman, well not her face, I could only see her silhouette. When she turned around, my heart nearly jumped out of my chest. It was Skye Rause, a famous designer. 

        "Hi, I'm Skye", she said as she shook my hand."I'm jenna", I replied.

     "How...? I asked as we sat. "Skye 's a close friend of mine and when I found out that she left Privée , I knew I had to introduce you guys to each other", Mei said.

     "I had no idea you left Privée", I said surprisedly.

     "Well, my contract expired and Privée and I decided to part ways", Skyw replied. "Mei showed me your sketches and I think there's a lot we can do together", Skye said and I beamed. Mei winked at me and I smiled.

     "I'll introduce you to my team tomorrow", Skye added. I was so happy that I almost cried and that was when Kun entered and I heard him arguing with Liam.

     "Sir, you can't come in", Liam said. "Kai said you shouldn't let me in again?", Kun asked and sighed.He entered anyway.

     Is that your brother?", Skye asked. "Probably ", Mei replied. "Shit", Skye muttered.

     "This is nice", Kun said as he approached us. "If it isn't the orange Skye", Kun said and Skye sighed. "You know what?, I'm still curious. How can a famous designer be colour blind?", Kun said and Skye stood up holding her bag.

     "I'll text you the address Mei. It was nice meeting you Jenna", She said, her eyes filled with tears. "Sure", Mei said and Skye left. "Nice work, big bro", Mei said. "Shut up, little sis", Kun snapped. "It's been ten years and you still managed to make her cry. You're a jerk", Mei said angrily and I sighed.

     Kun ran out to meet Skye. "Skye, wait up", He said but she ignored him. He got in front of her and she stopped. "I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry", Kun said. "I'm sure you didn't. All my life you've bullied me. You're the reason we moved. Ten years later, you still find it fun to make me cry", Skye said as the tears continued to fall. Kun couldn't help it and he hugged her. "I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. I had no idea I hurt you that much",Kun said as he hugged her tightly. "I'll make it up to you, only if you'll give me a chance", He said as he pulled away from her. Skye gave him her card and drove off.

     "I better leave before my brother returns." Kun said as he got into his car and drove off.

     "Actually, I've known Skye since we were kids and my brother always bullied her. I thought it was just a joke, that he was just playing around. At least not until Skye's family moved", Mei said sadly. " I should probably go too", Mei said and stood up. "Okay", I replied. "Way to ruin the mood, Xiao Kun", Mei said as she left.

     It was late in the night and I still hadn't fallen asleep. I was actually waiting for Kai. I was standing by the balcony when he entered. I was so happy that I threw my arms around him. I hugged him tightly. "Thanks for everything", I said as I pulled away from him. "Did something happen today?", He asked surprisedly. "I met Skye Rause", I replied. "That kid that Kun used to bully. "Well, she's not a kid anymore", I replied. "She's a famous designer now and she wants to work with me", I said. "That great news, Congratulations", He replied. "I wanted to run it by you first", I said. "You didn't have to. It's your dream, not mine", He replied. "But I'm glad that you're happy", Kai said.

     "Actually, I have something to show you", He said and handed me a paper."Are you sure you want to do this?", he asked. I checked the paper and it was the marriage contract we talked about. I took a pen and appended my signature. I handed him the contract and he stared at me in shock. "I promise to be a good wife", I said and he smiled.
