As soon as my father left, I knocked on the door at Romeo's Alpha office. Immediately, I got a response from the other side. “Come in…” Romeo's commanding voice made me smile. Sporting a foolish smile, I peeked my head inside and then moved in. “Hey Sweetheart… How was your chat with your father?”
My smile grew because no matter how busy he was, he was interested in what happened with my family. I let out a sigh and walked towards his desk, sitting in a chair in front of his desk. “Well, surprisingly, it went well. He actually apologized for everything… We cleared the air, and I guess my dad and I are now on good terms.
