“Sure, father, just let me tell Romeo that I will be a little late…” I immediately mind-linked Romeo, letting him know about my dad wanting to speak with me. He was not happy about it, but he agreed on giving me space to deal with my family.

“OK, Father, follow me to Alpha's floor, we can talk privately in the living room there.” I walked back to our floor and my dad quietly followed me. I said quietly because he was not saying a word, but oh! Boy, his thoughts were all over the place… I could hear his thoughts: “Shit, I knew she was special…” “I regret how I treated her… Would she be able to forgive me?” “Why did I listen to Paige's plan? Why did Nadia lie about her vision?” I was really curious about what he wanted to talk about. Now that I listened to his thoughts, I realized that there is so much more about what happened to me, than what I do know.

Stella POVAs soon as my father left, I knocked on the door at Romeo's Alpha office. Immediately, I got a response from the other side. “Come in…” Romeo's commanding voice made me smile. Sporting a foolish smile, I peeked my head inside and then moved in. “Hey Sweetheart… How was your chat with your father?”My smile grew because no matter how busy he was, he was interested in what happened with my family. I let out a sigh and walked towards his desk, sitting in a chair in front of his desk. “Well, surprisingly, it went well. He actually apologized for everything… We cleared the air, and I guess my dad and I are now on good terms. Unfortunately, my mother is a different story,” I paused, and he moved his eyes from the paper in front of him, towards me.He frowned when I talked about my conversation with my father. His eyes were fixed on me and, other than that expr

Romeo POVI took Stella's hand and walked up the stairs and opened the door. I didn't bother with knocking. After all, this is my parents' home, and even when I did not live there, my dad made sure that I did have a room, just in case I needed to be close to my family. My mother is an expert at organizing gatherings, so this time I was surprised that dinner was not planned as a major event. I remember when I introduced Paige to them, my mother went so overboard that the centerpieces looked like something out of a wedding magazine. This time, I was completely out of my comfort zone, because there were no decorations, no service, nothing. My mom was cooking like she usually does for us, not as she usually does to entertain others.“Dad, I am here…” I mind-linked him and he quickly went out of his study.“Hello, son…” He greeted me and then he looked at Stella.

  • The Wolf-Less Luna Prophecy   Chapter 56 - Luna Mariel

Stella POVAs soon as Luna Mariel showed up, I could breathe in her animosity towards me. I have no idea what I did to her, but she was upset about the fact that I was Romeo's fated mate. Instead of getting upset, I tried to amuse the situation calmly and decided that my handy ability would help me find out about the specifics.I could sense Romeo's anger towards his mother. We all know that Luna Mariel is well known for her fancy and extravagant gatherings and parties, and I guess the way I read the situation towards me, was completely out of the open, when she placed a tray of sandwiches in front of us, instead of the typical fancy three or four-course dinners we all know she can plan in a matter of minutes. She quickly excused herself for the sandwiches, and she called me a simple woman. Wow, I guess she is in for a surprise, but I let it slip because only time will tell, and prove her wrong in the end. Romeo relaxed

Romeo POVAfter a while, we shifted back and went back to the Packhouse. Neither Stella nor I were in a chatting mood, so we ran in silence. I was honestly disturbed by what our future held, and I had no idea how I was supposed to break that to her.We shifted back to human form and wore our clothes. As soon as we looked at each other, there was a silent understanding that it was neither the time, place nor moment to talk about what I had seen. I was thankful for the understanding she showed and for giving me time to process everything. She locked her fingers in my hand and softly smiled at me. “Let's go home, My Alpha…” she whispered and then pecked my cheek in a tender way. I love her so much. I felt comfortable, and somehow it gave me peace, walking with her hand wrapped around mine. I didn't want to let it go, after what I saw, I wanted to make the best out of every minute. We

Romeo POVI woke up at 5 in the morning. Even though I had a restless night, having my mate in my arms made me feel somehow at peace and rested. I stretched trying not to wake her up, and then headed towards the bathroom and closet to change for training. I have figured out that if I train early in the morning, I have one less thing to worry about during the day. When I exited the closet, I saw Stella sitting on the bed, her arms wrapping the sheet around her body. Of course, I knew she was naked under it, and my mind went away with how much I wanted to be buried in her body…“Hey!... Why are you up this early?” She asked, pulling me out of my mental gutter…. Shit I completely forgot, she can hear my thoughts…She laughed&h

Romeo POVThe whole day, Stella and I were working. She finished the financial check-up and I have to say. I love her attention to detail, she did an amazing job. “Romeo, can you look up these numbers please?” She asked, and I walked around my desk and sat on the chair next to hers.“Yes, Sweetheart, what about them?” I asked, and she pointed out two areas that were over budget.“See here, these two areas are over budget…” It was administration and Omega services."OK, Darling, what about them?” She rolled her eyes and then pulled out a different spreadsheet.“Well, they have been over budget for a long time. And I don't see how salaries for people supervising the correct running of the pack should be higher than more important areas, like health or education…” She mumbled, and got my full attention now, seeing h

Corey POVWe were sitting at Alpha's office and just got the news of our new appointed positions. Nathan and Rose would become Betas and Elliot and I would be the new Gammas. Of course, I am Team Stella, so naturally, I would be the Gamma female. Some weird shit is going on, because as soon as I asked about the Luna Ceremony, both Alpha and Stella froze. It was as if they knew something that made them stop for a moment. Then Stella closed her eyes, and the Alpha's eyes clouded. Like I said really weird shit… The only thing I could think of, was thanks for the heads-up. I just joined a hierarchy team as the Gamma, and apparently, I joined the looney bin. Elliot was carefully analyzing everything that was going on. My uptight mate is always vigilant and careful.Nate was the one voicing everyone's concerns, and Stella moved Romeo's shirt to the side to reveal a weird mark on his shoulder, then she said that they nee

Romeo POVEverybody went out of the office, and I was alone with my mate. I stood up and knelt in front of her. “Do you think that your gift combined with mine could give us answers and a way through our challenges?” I asked, amused about how the meeting went, and how our team believed that she could change the way things would play, even though we were certain that what needed to happen would happen, combining both abilities we were able to control how it would happen, and that gave me some peace of mind.“Well… I believe so, both of our abilities are a blessing from the Moon Goddess, and I think nothing bad could come out of them. So, yes, I believe together we can have better control of every challenge.” She said, and I nodded. We locked eyes and I kissed her lips. She is not only the love of my life, the woman made for me, but is also an intelligent and capable woman who is not afraid of the challenges ahea

She is flourishing into her new roles, her role as Quen and her role as a brand-new mother.Ralph usually gives her more trouble than our sweet baby girl, Stormee. She is just like that, like a storm that takes time to brew, but when it hits you, it hits you fucking hard.I was lounging in my office going through some paperwork when Stella barged in. “Hey, Sweetie…” I lifted my eyebrows, and she sighed,She was silent, and I knew she wanted to discuss something important. “What is it?” I dropped the papers and realized she was biting her nails. This was not a good sign; it meant something was troubling her mind.“We need ground rules…” She blurted, and I squinted my eyebrows.“What?” I sighed. I had no context or ba

  • The Wolf-Less Luna Prophecy   Chapter 120 - The Wolf-Less Queen

Romeo POVIt has been five months since we crossed forces with the darkness. My idea of setting up a council with every ruler as the head of their species was well received. We created treaties and laws that united our realms, and with the help of the Sisters of the Willow, we made a portal system that allowed our people to move back and forth.Morgan was a celebrity in the Dragon Realm. His technology expertise paid off, and now that the dragons had experienced technological advances, they were thrilled to learn more about it. That pushed him and Marcy to move to the Dragon Realm for a while. After all, we were their providers of the technology implemented in their realm. King David was the funniest, trying to video call everyone at all times. His daughter hatched two months ago, a gorgeous baby with purple eyes. The dragon's legends say the purple-eyed dragons were rare and blessed. I guess my pup got lucky on that one.

Stella POVWe managed to walk out of our room and headed to dinner. I was hoping to see everyone there, and I was sure not disappointed. Our table suddenly felt bigger, full of people and laughter. My heart warmed up, seeing the way our pack and friends had recovered from the massive attack we had endured.Everybody went silent as soon as we crossed the threshold of the dining hall. Rose's face lit up, and when our gazes crossed, I couldn't help but give her a broad smile. My eyes moved around, and my heart clenched when I saw Nate sitting in his wheelchair. It is unfair that such a fantastic person has to deal with that kind of recovery. My dearest Elemental elder friends were there as well. Eleanore, Everly, Elphaba, and Evangeline. I owe them everything.

Romeo POVIt was 3 weeks since the attack, all the visiting allied Alphas went back to their packs. They took the few casualties that they had, and everything was coming back to normal. Everything except my mate was still in the hospital, connected to wires with her eyes closed. The ladies of the Circle of the Willow decided to stay in my pack, waiting for Stella to wake up. King Aelfred and Kind David also stayed, but they sent their people back. Queen Sirena decided to take care of Stella personally. While King Vladimir returned to his kingdom, he said he would be back as soon as Paige and Eulisses´s baby was born, with Tatiana.I decided to stay at the hospital for as long as my mate was there. The staff had to pull an extra bed into Stella's guard to make my stay more comfortable. I couldn't part from her. I felt that the moment I walked out of that room, she would wake up, and I wanted to be the first face she

Stella POVDarkness was all I saw around me, I knew we had won, I felt at peace, and I was content with the life that I had lived. I was ready to meet my creator and to rest in peace. I let out a sigh, wishing I could have made it, but I also understood that certain sacrifices should be made for the greater good. So I was at peace.I heard a little giggle, and a white light blasted over me. I opened my eyes and realized that I was in a clearing, similar to where I was before, but there was no one around except me and a lady in a white dress.I walked towards the lady and I knew immediately that she was our Goddess. I guess I was in heaven. “My child, you did well… I am proud of you, you saved every species around, and for that, I am proud of you.” Selene said to me in a mellow and melodic voice. She sat on the ground facing the sky and I sat next to her. “You know that I bles

Paige POVShe blasted me. The fucking bitch blasted me with dark magic with full force. At that moment, I was thankful that Vladimir had asked me for an elf´s armor. Coral´s magic was slipping away from my body, not reaching me and not affecting me.I saw it in her eyes. She didn't know what was happening, she didn't understand the reach of white magic, and she was confused about what was protecting me. Beside the armor, the witches of the Circle of the Willow cast a blessing spell over me. No dark magic would be allowed to harm me, regardless of who cast it or how strong it was.I smiled at my ex-friend. “Oh, Coral, you wouldn't understand. Darkness is never stronger than light. Darkness corrupts everything, while light leads to a better path. You left darkness to consume you, and now you can't even see clearly what is happening around you.” I raised my eyes, looking at her completely dark ones. She gave me a look of co

Romeo POVIt was carnage, body parts flying everywhere, mostly from their creatures. Still, suddenly, we realized that even as we tore and tore flesh, the limp bodies on the ground started regenerating and attacking again. It was endless. Our injured warriors were removed from the field almost immediately.David left the fight and followed our sub-plan to protect Stella. We agreed to remove ourselves from the front and keep an eye on her. I felt her link open, and she whispered, “Honey, it is time. I love you.”“I love you, sweetheart. I will see you in a bit.” I told her, noticing the ground opening under us and demons crawling out. Shit, this is the worst-case scenario, these creatures are vicious, and our warriors are tired.Mariel POVI wanted to finish him, Romeo, the product of Remus' abuse of me, the reason why I couldn't leave that pack and have a happy life with my fated

Stella POVI was disappointed to feel Romeo closing in on me. I wanted to relax in his arms, but he refused and, with a tender kiss, walked away from me. I could feel his turmoil through our bond. I understand the way he feels, but he needs to give me some credit. Before I even had powers and my wolf, I was a good warrior and the best strategist, so he needed to start trusting me with my safety and the safety of my pups. I lay in bed trying to rest, but sleep never came. I tossed and turned until I placed my head over Romeo´spillow, which did the trick. Yes, I needed my mate close, and my pups also needed him, but he decided to leave us here.My selfish side wanted him near me at every single moment, while my rational side understood that he had a ton of things to check before the war. He wanted to be prepared and sure that we would be successful. Although my heart was hurting because I was in tune with my selfish side,

Romeo POVI dismissed the meeting, trying to wrap my head around what happened there. I want to keep Stella and my pups as far away as I can from the shitshow, and on the other hand, they twisted my arm into agreeing to have them as bait. I am torn and I don't know what to think about it.Stella is confident and wants to be part of everything, and I know for sure that she is capable enough, but still, my heart and my brain don't seem to agree on what to do. My heart and my wolf are pushing me to keep her safe and concealed from everything, while my brain is telling me that the best option to win this once and for all is to agree with Mother Ashia.Stella took my hand and gave me a small smile. She could feel my turmoil, and I, for once, was not trying to hide it from her. She needs to know that it has been the hardest decision I have had to make, and even if we agree on it, I am not sure about it.“H
