Romeo POV

The part of the prophecy that I was not aware of, only shed light on the fact that I was 26 and about to meet her. That she was cursed by a witch and a She-wolf and that to break the curse we would have to mate.

My head was spiraling, because I had had sex with Paige two times, and she was not the one the prophecy referred to. She has a wolf, so definitely she is not the one. Max was running in circles in my head, screaming "Leia… Leia," that made the whole thing more confusing, because I kept seeing Stella in my head.

A soft knock on the door pulled me out of my mind. I stood up and walked towards the door to open it. I knew it was Stella, her unmistakable scent peaked through the door, before opening it.

"Hey, come in," I said, moving to

Stella POVAfter talking to Romeo, I felt relieved that he thought the same for me. We are getting to know each other and falling in love with each other. I would never have imagined that it could be a possibility. We ended our chat, promising to talk about ourselves as soon as we returned from CrescentMoon. I quickly went back and entered my room. I had to pack my bag for tomorrow. Instead of being a nuisance, as usual, the whole packing process was rather pleasant... I was in a superb mood. I couldn't erase the silly smile on my lips. I couldn't help it. Leia kept chanting, in my head, that Max wanted us.I needed to get used to her because she was driving me crazy. I packed my duffle bag with tons of training clothing and some dressy clothing just in case.I tossed and turned the whole night, thinking about the mission, thinking of the risks and dangers, but mainly thinking of him. Romeo POVAfter a 5-hour drive, we arrived at CrescentMoon. The place is nice and thriving. We were received by Alpha Leo and Luna Martha, next to them his Beta Bob, his son Tony, the future Alpha, and next to him Brad, their future Beta. Both SUVs parked up front of the packhouse, and all the guys quickly stepped out of the cars. Corey, Elliot, Gus, Jack, and Nathan climbed out of their SUV. Morgan and Zach did the same, they were ready to stretch out, after the long ride. Stella was about to open her door when I stopped her.“Let me do it…” She looked at me and nodded. I quickly climbed out of the car, earning a few gasps, because nobody knew I was coming to the mission. I opened her door and she stepped out. Tony and Brad looked at each other and grinned at Stella.Stella shivered but composed herself quickly. She slowly walked and joined the rest of her teammates. I moved forwa

Stella POVRomeo held me against his body for a while. I was yawning by the time he left my room. I hope everything goes well tomorrow. Honestly, I missed him the second he walked out, but we needed to keep our distance. After all, we were on a dangerous mission and needed to focus on the task. The next day, we started training at 5:30 and by the time we were summoned for breakfast, we were ready to face the day. Gus and Morgan were in charge of physical recon of the area, while Corey and Jack were in charge of setting up cameras around the perimeter. Nathan was the Commander on site, while Romeo was the Commander around the control center. Elliot, Morgan, Zach, and I stayed at the control center, setting everything up and programming all the technology. Romeo's presence was distracting, so I made a mental note to talk to Nate about it, seeing that maybe he could keep him away from me.By lunchtime, we were all settled a

Romeo POVThe doctor came and checked on Stella. Apparently, she was in so much distress that she passed out. He confirmed that she was getting her wolf, and he was mesmerized to know that she had elemental powers. The doctor tended to some injuries she had on her forehead and some bruises and cuts on her body and told me to let her rest. He sent a nurse to perform some tests on her, including a rape kit. I was so upset that I couldn't stay in that room for another minute.“Corey… Can you come for a minute?” I mind-linked him. “Yes, Alpha…” He quickly answered. In a matter of minutes, he was knocking on my door. I opened the door only to be greeted by Nate, Corey, Elliot, Zack, Jack, Gus and Morgan. “Hum, Alpha, we are very concerned…” Morgan said, and I was surprised to hear Morgan's voice, he was a fierce warrior, with very few words on his account.“I know

Romeo POVSomething bigger than me made me confess my feelings to her. I was not expecting her to reciprocate and said that she loved me back. I wanted to kiss her and wrap myself in her, but I knew she was vulnerable and hurt, and I needed to control Max from taking over and mating her.I knew that she needed time to recover, to get herself together, and some more time to get to the point that she willingly trusted me. I would have to be patient, but I knew that somehow we would get there. After our confessions, I took her bag inside the bathroom, and she changed by herself. Luna Martha ordered an Omega to bring food for her to my room. There is no doubt that she is a great Luna and host. I took Stella into the couch that was inside my room and forced her to eat something. “Romeo, tomorrow we need to scan the area, I am pretty sure the rogue wolves are located there…” She said and I looked at her, I c

Romeo POVI was desperate, Stella found out in the worst possible way about my mom's plan on making Paige my Luna. I was speechless at her reaction, I could see how hurt she was, I could feel her rage and her disappointment. She asked Nathan, as her commander, to relieve her from her mission here, and he agreed. He even agreed on taking her back to Royal Pack, but to my surprise she wanted to go back to Silvercrown.Max was desperate, we could feel her feelings, and we had to endure our own pain. I denied her request to leave the Royal Pack, but she kept asking, until she faced me. I hope someday I can erase from my mind the look on her face. Her eyes were bloodshot red, her gaze screamed pain, her whole demeanor told me that I broke her. When I kept denying her requests, before Nathan could agree to more nonsense, she faced me, pulling herself together and just said “How dare you?...” I know I have no right

Stella POVI hated the position Romeo placed me in all of this. Nate opened the door to the room and I entered. I was terrified of finding Romeo waiting for me in there, but to my surprise he was not inside the room.I let out a deep breath in relief, but then Nate spoke. “He will be back, you know?... He just went out running, he needed to burn some steam.”I lowered my head and whispered “Life is not fair…” Nate laughed,“Stella, please try to hear him. I know you are hurt and I know everything points out to him being a player, but I have known him since we were kids, he is a good guy, too good for his own good. He loves his pack and kingdom, and would be able to sacrifice everything for the wellbeing of everyone. He is under a lot of political pressure, and there is some information that you need to know before you pass judgment on his actions.” Nathan pl

I would choose her thousand times over. I know that my decision will hurt Paige somehow, but I am not willing to let Stella go. I can´t let her go.I got interrupted by Nathan mind linking me. “Alpha, we have a security breach at the North, rogues…” I stood up and my whole demeanor changed. She is flourishing into her new roles, her role as Quen and her role as a brand-new mother.Ralph usually gives her more trouble than our sweet baby girl, Stormee. She is just like that, like a storm that takes time to brew, but when it hits you, it hits you fucking hard.I was lounging in my office going through some paperwork when Stella barged in. “Hey, Sweetie…” I lifted my eyebrows, and she sighed,She was silent, and I knew she wanted to discuss something important. “What is it?” I dropped the papers and realized she was biting her nails. This was not a good sign; it meant something was troubling her mind.“We need ground rules…” She blurted, and I squinted my eyebrows.“What?” I sighed. I had no context or ba

  • The Wolf-Less Luna Prophecy   Chapter 120 - The Wolf-Less Queen

Romeo POVIt has been five months since we crossed forces with the darkness. My idea of setting up a council with every ruler as the head of their species was well received. We created treaties and laws that united our realms, and with the help of the Sisters of the Willow, we made a portal system that allowed our people to move back and forth.Morgan was a celebrity in the Dragon Realm. His technology expertise paid off, and now that the dragons had experienced technological advances, they were thrilled to learn more about it. That pushed him and Marcy to move to the Dragon Realm for a while. After all, we were their providers of the technology implemented in their realm. King David was the funniest, trying to video call everyone at all times. His daughter hatched two months ago, a gorgeous baby with purple eyes. The dragon's legends say the purple-eyed dragons were rare and blessed. I guess my pup got lucky on that one.

Stella POVWe managed to walk out of our room and headed to dinner. I was hoping to see everyone there, and I was sure not disappointed. Our table suddenly felt bigger, full of people and laughter. My heart warmed up, seeing the way our pack and friends had recovered from the massive attack we had endured.Everybody went silent as soon as we crossed the threshold of the dining hall. Rose's face lit up, and when our gazes crossed, I couldn't help but give her a broad smile. My eyes moved around, and my heart clenched when I saw Nate sitting in his wheelchair. It is unfair that such a fantastic person has to deal with that kind of recovery. My dearest Elemental elder friends were there as well. Eleanore, Everly, Elphaba, and Evangeline. I owe them everything.

Romeo POVIt was 3 weeks since the attack, all the visiting allied Alphas went back to their packs. They took the few casualties that they had, and everything was coming back to normal. Everything except my mate was still in the hospital, connected to wires with her eyes closed. The ladies of the Circle of the Willow decided to stay in my pack, waiting for Stella to wake up. King Aelfred and Kind David also stayed, but they sent their people back. Queen Sirena decided to take care of Stella personally. While King Vladimir returned to his kingdom, he said he would be back as soon as Paige and Eulisses´s baby was born, with Tatiana.I decided to stay at the hospital for as long as my mate was there. The staff had to pull an extra bed into Stella's guard to make my stay more comfortable. I couldn't part from her. I felt that the moment I walked out of that room, she would wake up, and I wanted to be the first face she

Stella POVDarkness was all I saw around me, I knew we had won, I felt at peace, and I was content with the life that I had lived. I was ready to meet my creator and to rest in peace. I let out a sigh, wishing I could have made it, but I also understood that certain sacrifices should be made for the greater good. So I was at peace.I heard a little giggle, and a white light blasted over me. I opened my eyes and realized that I was in a clearing, similar to where I was before, but there was no one around except me and a lady in a white dress.I walked towards the lady and I knew immediately that she was our Goddess. I guess I was in heaven. “My child, you did well… I am proud of you, you saved every species around, and for that, I am proud of you.” Selene said to me in a mellow and melodic voice. She sat on the ground facing the sky and I sat next to her. “You know that I bles

Paige POVShe blasted me. The fucking bitch blasted me with dark magic with full force. At that moment, I was thankful that Vladimir had asked me for an elf´s armor. Coral´s magic was slipping away from my body, not reaching me and not affecting me.I saw it in her eyes. She didn't know what was happening, she didn't understand the reach of white magic, and she was confused about what was protecting me. Beside the armor, the witches of the Circle of the Willow cast a blessing spell over me. No dark magic would be allowed to harm me, regardless of who cast it or how strong it was.I smiled at my ex-friend. “Oh, Coral, you wouldn't understand. Darkness is never stronger than light. Darkness corrupts everything, while light leads to a better path. You left darkness to consume you, and now you can't even see clearly what is happening around you.” I raised my eyes, looking at her completely dark ones. She gave me a look of co

Romeo POVIt was carnage, body parts flying everywhere, mostly from their creatures. Still, suddenly, we realized that even as we tore and tore flesh, the limp bodies on the ground started regenerating and attacking again. It was endless. Our injured warriors were removed from the field almost immediately.David left the fight and followed our sub-plan to protect Stella. We agreed to remove ourselves from the front and keep an eye on her. I felt her link open, and she whispered, “Honey, it is time. I love you.”“I love you, sweetheart. I will see you in a bit.” I told her, noticing the ground opening under us and demons crawling out. Shit, this is the worst-case scenario, these creatures are vicious, and our warriors are tired.Mariel POVI wanted to finish him, Romeo, the product of Remus' abuse of me, the reason why I couldn't leave that pack and have a happy life with my fated

Stella POVI was disappointed to feel Romeo closing in on me. I wanted to relax in his arms, but he refused and, with a tender kiss, walked away from me. I could feel his turmoil through our bond. I understand the way he feels, but he needs to give me some credit. Before I even had powers and my wolf, I was a good warrior and the best strategist, so he needed to start trusting me with my safety and the safety of my pups. I lay in bed trying to rest, but sleep never came. I tossed and turned until I placed my head over Romeo´spillow, which did the trick. Yes, I needed my mate close, and my pups also needed him, but he decided to leave us here.My selfish side wanted him near me at every single moment, while my rational side understood that he had a ton of things to check before the war. He wanted to be prepared and sure that we would be successful. Although my heart was hurting because I was in tune with my selfish side,

Romeo POVI dismissed the meeting, trying to wrap my head around what happened there. I want to keep Stella and my pups as far away as I can from the shitshow, and on the other hand, they twisted my arm into agreeing to have them as bait. I am torn and I don't know what to think about it.Stella is confident and wants to be part of everything, and I know for sure that she is capable enough, but still, my heart and my brain don't seem to agree on what to do. My heart and my wolf are pushing me to keep her safe and concealed from everything, while my brain is telling me that the best option to win this once and for all is to agree with Mother Ashia.Stella took my hand and gave me a small smile. She could feel my turmoil, and I, for once, was not trying to hide it from her. She needs to know that it has been the hardest decision I have had to make, and even if we agree on it, I am not sure about it.“H
