Romeo POV
Something bigger than me made me confess my feelings to her. I was not expecting her to reciprocate and said that she loved me back. I wanted to kiss her and wrap myself in her, but I knew she was vulnerable and hurt, and I needed to control Max from taking over and mating her.
I knew that she needed time to recover, to get herself together, and some more time to get to the point that she willingly trusted me. I would have to be patient, but I knew that somehow we would get there.
