I was pleading with Stella, trying to get her to understand that I do care for Paige´s feelings, but if I have to make a decision between Paige and her, it will always come down to her. I would choose her thousand times over. I know that my decision will hurt Paige somehow, but I am not willing to let Stella go. I can´t let her go.

I got interrupted by Nathan mind linking me. “Alpha, we have a security breach at the North, rogues…” I stood up and my whole demeanor changed. I am responsible for the lives of so many werewolves… Including the ones of this pack.

I stood up and looked at her. “The pack is under attack. I know you can't stand me at the moment, but I need your eyes in the command center.” I said to her, she quickly composed, cleaned her eyes, let out a sigh, and nodded. “Good, let's go…” I said to her,
