Meeting

Minx feared that she would be leaving soon and so, decided to call Gabriel, she wanted to meet up as soon as possible. She missed him a lot but doubted if he still felt the same way about her.

Sometimes, she wondered why she told Gabriel to keep it a secret, if he had told his parents, they wouldn’t like it but they still would not leave her unprotected with her unborn child. That way, she would be sure that no harm would come to her.

Ring, Ring… Gabriel’s phone was ringing but there was no response. Minx decided to call one more time, then, she would give it a rest.

“Hello…” Gabriel said.

Oh, how she missed the tingling sensation she felt on hearing his voice. His low deep voice was euphonious and Minx loved to hear it all the time. Sometimes, she wondered if he could sing. Of what use was it? They would never be together, it was useless to fantasize over the impossible.

“Hey, Gabriel, it’s Minx.” Minx said. She had gotten a new phone and a new sim too since Gina had the old one.
