Dream come true

“What took you so long? Your food must have gotten cold already. Eat up, you don’t wanna starve the baby.” Mrs. Jackson said and they both laughed it off.

Minx was not hungry at the moment because of how much her body ached for Gabriel. But there was no way she could leave without eating, her mother would not allow it. She ate a little quantity of food and took some fruits with her so that when she becomes hungry, she would eat them and give Gabriel too.

“I’ve had my fill, mom. I’ll be in my room.” Minx said as she stood up.

“Yunno, when I was pregnant, I always ate at odd times, I would send your father out in the middle of the night to get me crabs, where would he find such at such an hour? But he did get me everything I wanted. I stocked the fridge, feel free to take anything you please.” Mrs. Jackson said with a big smile.

“Thank you, mom.” Minx said and turned to leave.
