Bitterness

Gabriel and Gordon struggled with all their might and skills but they could not beat William, he was always a step ahead.

They fought and fought until they exhausted all their energy.

“You are the King, Uncle William. I swear my allegiance to you.” Gordon said. Gabriel and William laughed.

“You two are getting better. Gabriel gave me a cut on my arm.” William said as he rolled up his sleeve to reveal the injury he sustained.

“I wanted to do more.” Gabriel said as he fell to the ground.

“And you will, consistency is all you need. A tine will come when you would be able to defend yourselves properly but till then, I’ll keep taking the victory.” William said and walked away leaving them panting heavily on the soft green grass.

“We will never be able to beat him, will we?” Gordon said.

“Don’t answer that,” he added.

As they lay on the grass, they saw Seth approach them, and immediately, they got up and cleaned themselves up.

“Good morning, dad” Gabriel said.

“Good morning, uncle Seth.”
