CHAPTER 6

Alaric left the hallways and proceeded for the gate, his plan was to go find Lance in his house and beat the shit out of him. There was a limit to cheating and he had crossed the line. Of course, he knew his friend didn't like his sister and that was the reason he had tolerated him being with other girls but he shouldn't have openly embarrass her in such a way. Who knows what Jade is going through at this moment, he knew how much she liked Lance and every single thing he did hurt her. 

 He seemed to have forgotten Jade had flipped Lance.

 

 Before Jade got home, the news had circulated and was all over social media but she was clueless about it as she didn't open her phone until she got home. She opened the door to the living room only to see her Mother pacing to and fro much to her surprise. 

Did something happened? 

Mrs Caleb, Lisa heard the footsteps and turned to see the cause of her worry. She walked faster towards Jade with a worried look. She looked all over her, trying to check if she was hurt or anything. When she realized nothing was out of place, she breathed relief.

 "You must be feeling tired, right?" At her question, Jade was now very confused. What the hell was going on? 

 "Indeed" She was feeling tired, of course, she had walked home from the school. She had done the same in the morning but she wasn't as tired as in the afternoon. It seemed it was because she was very happy this morning and was Ultra happy in the afternoon and it drained her energy. She had planned to beat up Lance but settled with only flipping him, if he does it once more than he'll be beaten to almost death.

"Thankfully, you didn't hurt yourself. I'm sure you are very hungry now. You should go to have your bath, I'll bring your lunch to your room" Lisa thought it was because she had gotten into a fight and was now feeling tired from it. She pushed Jade up the stairs and immediately went to the kitchen to prepare lunch.

Even with her confusion, she walked to her room and decided to have her bath first. She had just came out of the bathroom and that was the moment her Mom entered, bringing a tray of food with her. Jade smiled at the warm gesture, her real parents never had her time for anything, so she had gotten used to taking care of herself on her own, but this Jade was different, she was pampered and doesn't do things on her own....she has an older brother who dotes on her too much and Three Cousin brothers who Pampers her too. 

"Thank you, Mom" She appreciated before going into the walk in closet. She wasn't able to appreciate it well that morning and now she was seeing it, she was amazed. Money was truly good. She could see various clothes, bags, shoes and jewelries from different popular brands. Accessories she would never be able to afford in her world. She wanted to explore the closet to her heart consent but remembered Lisa was out, so she picked a simple cotton dress which was just up to her knees and put it on before going out.

"Be sure to be home soon....okay then bye" She heard Lisa say to whoever it was on the phone. She guessed it must be either her father or brother.

She walked closer to the bed and sat right beside Lisa, wanting to take the tray of food from her but Lisa wouldn't allow it.

"You didn't have breakfast this morning, so I'm going to feed you this time" She was brimming with excitement as she said this. Jade had her mouth agape. Isn't this pampering too much? 

She gave an awkward smile "I certainly can eat it on my own, Mom" She was still trying to collect it but Lisa wasn't giving up.

"You should retain your energy, who knows how much you would have lost after flipping Lance and pushing that bitch beside him. I'm not saying you shouldn't punish cheaters but don't stress yourself anymore. You could call Rick to help you out, he's very much available" Lisa was genuinely worried. Her daughter was always very weak and she couldn't imagine how tired she must have been. Who knows if she might have to go to the hospital.

Jade on the other hand was speechless. How, when and where did her mother know about the incident? Oh! That was why she was checking her out earlier and asking her if she was fine?

"Mom, I'm okay. I'm not that delicate" She protested but Lisa was having none of it. 

"You are lying, did you know how huge Lance is. He visits the gym every weekends and you are telling me you carried him and Isn't feeling any pain?" Jade had once shown interest in Martial arts but had practiced only for a week before she was stopped by Lisa, simply because she got hurt on one occasion. 

She wanted so much to tell Lisa she was blackbelt in Judo and something like this was nothing but who will understand her....

The door burst open, revealing a worried looking Wallace and oh boy...was he so hot. She was having an hard time deciding who was hotter between Wallace and Daryl but she'll go for Daryl...The guy is a soul candy.

Wallace had heard from his band members about what had happened and he had seen the video. He was already on his way when his Mom called and here he was. 

"Are you okay, Anne? You didn't get hurt, right?" He embraced her and she willingly let him. These people are really something else. Lance is the one who would be having back pain but she's the one they are worried about....

Lance went to his room immediately so his Mom wouldn't know what had happened to him. The woman's eyes was like an eagle's and nothing could be hidden from her. He got rid of his uniform and went to soak himself in Ice, to calm himself down. He had hardly finished dressing when his younger sister, Laura bursted in.

 "Finally, the cheating bastard got a taste of his medicine" She bursted into a feat of giggles while handing her phone over to Lance so he could take a look.

He was shocked at what he saw. Who would have thought the incident of few hours ago was all over the internet...there were various headlines like

 CHEATING FIANCÉ WAS TAUGHT A LESSON...

 A PLAYBOY WHO FORGOT HE HAD A FIANCEE WAS REMINDED BY HER IN THE MOST INTERESTING WAY EVER 

Lance was fuming after reading the headlines, he immediately called someone. 

"What the hell are you waiting for, take off the articles" He didn't even wait for whomever he was talking to to reply before hanging up.

"Someone is angry" Laura taunted much to his displeasure.

"I've always told you never to hurt her but you wouldn't listen to me. If you don't like her just break the damn engagement... Our Grandmother who got you both together is no longer alive, so it's time you let her go so you could continue your Playboy activities" Lance glared at her before laying on his back on the bed.

"I don't want to" He rejected.. although he didn't like her, he love the feeling of having the most popular and beautiful girl in school as his. So people like Daryl wouldn't claim her. 

Laura shook her head at him "You'll regret this" 

He wanted to reply her but the loud bang on his door made him stop. He didn't know Laura had locked it and since she was the one who locked it, he told her to go open.

She opened the door a bit to look at whoever had been banging on it. Her eyes widened slightly on seeing who it was, then she looked back at Lance who was lying on the bed.

 She only had one thought and that was 'Oh boy, you are screwed'
