Chapter 2

  She skipped out of the car and ran towards the school building , it was kinda childish for a 21 year old lady but who cares as long as she was in the body of an 18 year old girl . 

 The hallway was empty , indicating that the students were in their classes already. The moment Jade  got to the door of her class ,she heard the students talking about her . Well about the incident of the previous day .

" I told you she wouldn't come today ,she would be ashamed obviously " one of her classmates whose name she doesn't know was saying to her friends . Then Jade opened the door with a wide smile plastered on her face .

 " Hello everyone , I was hearing someone saying I wouldn't come and why would I be ashamed of something I never did ?" She asked then flipped her hair before walking past the dumbfounded girls to her sit  which was obviously at the back .

 Well ,Jade wasn't a dull student and she wasn't exactly that bright either  but she was an above average student ,she just love sitting at the back because it was easier for her to fall asleep in case the class was boring .

 Shortly ,the teacher entered with a beautiful looking young lady. The girl was looking as pure as swan and innocent too. Jade already knew this was the female lead as she remembered the description of her and also, she was the only new student that day.

' no wonder the idiot fell for her ' Jade thought before placing her head on the table .

" Class ,this is the new Transfer , she's Diniel Brown ,hope you all get along with her " Miss Stacy said ,she was their English teacher .

Diniel made a little curtsey and smiled at the class .

 " Hope we all get along " she said still smiling and everyone welcomed her .

'Tch ,the author is really something else , she just had to make the female lead the pretty ,pure ,smart and innocent looking one with straight body like a pole  and make the Villianess the beauty , stupid and sexy looking one , how exactly is that fair ' Jade  lamented inwardly .

Diniel then took her sit which was directly in front of Winter then the teacher turned to Winter.

" Miss Caleb ,after class please visit the principal's office " Miss Stacy  told her and she simply nodded in reply .

The class began and ended when the bell rang and the teacher left . Jade also was preparing to go to the principal's office when a girl suddenly came to her front , she stared at the smiling girl a while before figuring out who she was. 

 She was Jade's best friend Lilith and the daughter of the City's mayor . They have been friends since they were 5.  Infact till where Jade  read the book to ,Lilith was still her friend ,she was someone who was easily bullied ,she almost had same characteristics as the female lead. The weak ones.

" Bes , good luck , I hope Lance could help you this time around , I don't know what exactly he does as your fiance " Lilith said then gave Jade  an unwrapped hamburger with a bottle of milk .

" I bet you didn't eat breakfast yet ,so have this " She told her and Jade smiled before collecting it.

' no wonder she was her best friend ,she knew her too well , if only that annoying Tiana had been like this ,my life would have been easier ' she thought before eating her breakfast .

" Thanks bes , I'll pay you back on your wedding day " she replied and Lilith bursted to laughter . 

" I don't need your thanks ,so shut up "

 She and Tiana also had been child hood friends but all her friend ever did was bully her, wasn't she pitiful !!!

She had just finished eating her breakfast and was ready to go to the principal's office when Diniel also stood and they ended up colliding into one another .

" What the hell ! Jade screamed and that made Diniel shrink back . The whole class had turned to them to watch what would happen because everyone knows Jade's bad temper . She was the school's Queen Bee and has a very bad temper.

 " I'm so sorry ,I didn't see you ,I'm really sorry " Diniel immediately apologize ,she could tell Jade wasn't someone she could mess with .

Jade just stared at her and sneered . 

 ' what a pain , oh author , isn't this unfair ? Making your female lead so pathetic ,to be easily scared by something so teeny , well whatever ' she thought before smiling at Diniel .

" No problem ,Diniel right?" She asked as though she didn't know her name .

 Everyone in the class gasped at her sudden friendliness. The Jade they knew was never like this.

Diniel eyes suddenly brightened when she saw winter wasn't angry at her .

 " Yes and you are ? She asked cautiously .

 " I'm Jade, nice meeting you "Jade  said before walking away .

She got to the principal's office then entered , a middle aged woman was sitting behind the desk ,she lifted her head when she heard the door open ,she then smiled on seeing who it was .

" Welcome Miss Caleb " she said and Winter was confused at the woman's behavior. 

 ' she was supposed to be angry right ?' She thought but smiled back the the woman .

" We discovered that  it was a misunderstanding , someone brought the prove before now so you are free of the suspicion and we are sorry for the inconvenience " the principal apologized and Jade got more confused .

 This didn't happen in the real book though , she thought she might need to find evidences herself but it turned out someone already did it for her .

" Ma'am can I know who?" She asked. Originally in the book, Jade had thought Lance was the one who helped her out so she had went to thank him without asking the principal. But now that she was thinking about it, it could never be Lance. The guy would rather be with his flings rather than help his fiance. She thought of who else would have helped her but no one comes to mind.

The woman smiled before replying " well he told us not to tell you who he was but I would like you to thank him properly so it's right to tell you his name , It's Darryl Matthew"

" Darryl !!!" She was shocked . Wait , wasn't he that famous basketball?  he was always indifferent towards her though and yes he was the Villîan in the book . He later died in the book, even Jade had also had died before the end of the book and she was guessing it was an happy ending for the leads .

 ' oh so it was that guy , he's way better than that idíót fiance of mine , let's go see how he looks like ' she thought before leaving the principal's office . She preferred him over the male lead ,a million times . At least he wasn't an hypocrite. There's nothing anyone can tell her that would make her like that Lance. He was the one who turned Jade into a Villian.

The moment she went out ,she was ambushed by Lilith who was growing impatient already .

" What happened there , are you freed now ? She asked and Jade hugged her .

" Yes I am , Bes , we should go to the eatery I need to buy something for someone " she replied instead and Lilith looked at her in Surprise .

" Who? Lance ?" She asked in confusion .

 " Not Lance , you'll know the person when we get there " Jade replied mysteriously before walking away. Lilith ran after her and they continued discussing .

 They had almost got to the eatery when Jade heard her name being called and she turned to see an extremely handsome guy, but sadly she didn't drool much because she knew who he was, obviously he was the annoying male lead .  She already studied his features which made her conclude on that fact. He had to be very handsome so all girls could love him . He had blonde hair with blue eyes and very attractive pink lips . 

' tch ,what a waste of beauty , I'll make sure you are more beautiful after beating you up someday ' she thought

" Yes " she replied nonchalantly which surprised him .

 " Is your situation solved ? He asked and she sneered.

 " Oh my beloved fiancee ,is this the right time to ask that ? I know you aren't interested in my matter ,I wonder what changed and why you are here to act like you care?" She replied him sarcastically and even Lilith was shocked this time . The Jade she knew was always shy in front of her fiancee.

 " It seems it had been solved , if you could have time to walk around " he concluded .

" Yes it had been solved , your  belated care is much appreciated  " she replied and walked away .

 " Trynna be a good person now ,hmph " she snorted .
