Alexanders pov

As I navigated the bustling corridors of the city's pack house, my thoughts were intrusively fixated on Olivia. Her decision to meet the new Alphas was a bitter pill to swallow, and yet, Cassandra clouded my every rational thought. I wished Cassandra would stay back at the hotel and rest, but she had pleaded to come along. Her insistence was as rigid as steel, and I, as evident from my troubled heart, couldn't bring myself to say no.
