Olivia's POV

Light filtered through the curtains, illuminating the dimly lit room as I cautiously stepped inside. My heart pounded as my eyes scanned for any signs of danger.

Suddenly, a figure jumped out from behind the couch. "Boo!"

I spun around, my wolf surfacing, ready to protect. Instead, I was met with the sight of Liam and Sarah, their faces lit up with mischievous grins. Relief washed over me as I placed a hand over my racing heart.

"Mummy!" they shouted in unison, charging toward me with open arms.

I knelt down, engulfing them in a tight hug. "I missed you both so much," I whispered, feeling their warmth seep into my soul, filling the emptiness I'd been carrying.

"We missed you too, Mum," Liam said, pulling back slightly to look at me with his big eyes. "More than anything!"

Sarah chimed in, her voice soft yet full of emotion. "Allan told us you’d be happier if we were here. Is that true?"
