I rushed into the base. The guards glanced at me and looked straight ahead. I swung every door wide open but did not meet anyone.

"Where are they?" I asked one of the guards.

"In the basement."

"Okay,thank you." I rush to head to the basement. I stop midway figuring out I have never been there before. I turn back. "please escort me." I request him trying to sound polite.

He bowed and led the way. I followed. It took a lot of self control on my side to not lush him or curse at him for not being fast enough

He stopped at the corridor and pointed to a black door at the end of the dark corridor.

"Thank you." I run over and got in without knocking.

Everyone in the room turned to me. I swallow and step forward locking the door behind me. I breath in deeply feeling suffocated at the attention I had brought upon myself.
