Eric's POV

“Have a nice day, and thank you for your time, Mr. Dean,” I flashed a smile at the man in front of me as we exchanged handshakes.

“It was nice having this meeting with you, Mr Eric,” Dean returned with a warm smile before walking out of my office.

Exhaling, I sent my hands into the scalp of my hair as I paced to and fro in my office. I would be lying to myself if I say I wasn't using my company to kill time. I badly wanted to forget about Aaron's threats of returning or whom must have poisoned Laura and tried to kill her and our baby, but I couldn't just forget about it even though I tried to go for different business meetings and conferences.

“Dammit,” I cursed, sending a fist straight into a wall and blood started to gush out, but that wasn't part of my problems for the meantime.

My friend, Tyler, walked in. “Eric, what the heck, man?!” He whisper-yelled, dropping off what he brought along with him and walking to my side.
